"Beautiful cottage with a lot of space outside, a seating area by the stream, a great location near Millom and other Lake District locations, and a hot tub!
(Note: The hot tub use is an additional £40 flat fee, which was unmentioned on Hotel.com listing, but is on the official Sykes Cottage page)"

"We had a very comfortable stay from Monday to Friday at Acorn cottage despite some rather wet weather. The cottage was nicely decorated and furnished and well equipped. It is well positioned to walk in to Keswick to take advantage of Keswick's attractions."

"A lovely flat, I was very impressed particularly with how clean it was - as someone with severe food allergies such a clean kitchen was a dream. Brilliant location and lovely decor too."

"We booked a last minute stay at the Fellseeker and contacted the team directly to help with booking as we were looking for a dog friendly property. All of the booking team could not have been more helpful, excellent communication from the staff, who immediately sent over all booking information and directions to the property. On arrival at the property, it was lovely inside and very clean. The location is excellent. I would definitely book here again and could not recommend it enough! Thank you...

"A lovely hotel in an ideal location for visiting the Lake District. Within walking distance of several walks and Derwent Water jetty from where you can catch the ferry to points around the lake and to Keswick.
Sofia and the staff made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast was good, with plenty of selection.
The restaurant also had good food."
"Lovely location and beautiful rooms and the Spa is a must … one piece of advice is to make sure you do not stay when the fire drill is taking place. We were forewarned but not to the extent of Turning the gas off in the restaurants so no service, all for safety and fire drills but rather extreme when paying guest are in residence and have pre booked."
"A very enjoyable stay. The room is in need of a little updating (bathroom) but for the price we paid with breakfast, we thought it excellent value. Staff friendly and efficient. Evening meal was excellent (and huge!)."
"What a find! It was great. Now don't be deceived by its address. It is not in Ambleside. It's a few miles to the west on the narrow, winding B5343, beyond Skelwith Bridge and the old slate mining village of Chapel Stile. This road comes to a dead end in the Langdales a few miles from the hotel.
There's an old 19th century Ordnance Survey map on the wall of the breakfast room which identifies 'Robinson place' which I think was this building, previously a farm. Anyway, it has been sympathetically restored to welcome visitors, both car drivers like us and plenty of hikers and cyclists. My room had large windows on two walls, with beautiful views of mountains, grass and sheep."
"On arrival checking in was made easy by the friendly staff, I was giving all the information needed about my stay and made feel very welcome. The grounds are beautiful and I very much enjoyed taking my outside. The staff were exceptional and made my stay so enjoyable and I will certainly be back."
