“The house was great and had something for everyone to do. It was clean and well appointed. The only negative was that the drive to Sunday River was a bit farther than expected in the snow.”

“This was a very peaceful neighborhood. The yard and neighborhood were great for walks with the dogs. It was just the right distance from attractions - enough to be quiet and in crowded but mostly everything we wanted to do was within 20 min. I imagine during winter it’s busier in this area but this fall trip was perfect.We didn’t really need all this space. But we found this looking for a place that allowed pets and had a washer/dryer. Depending on where you’re reading, it’s not clear that there……

“Hot tub was perfect. I only wish that the Christmas tree shown in the photos was there, as we were spending Christmas away - overall not a big deal and I did not ask about it. Great getaway!”

The hosts are clear and kind communicators, making everything from check in to check out easy to navigate and really making us feel welcomed and at home immediately. They are also extremely skilled and talented artisans to have created a stay so warm, inviting, well-appointed, thoughtful, gorgeous… (we could go on and on). This stay has everything you need……

“We had such an amazing time! Our grandchildren had the best time sledding. My husband and son shoveled out the 3 feet of snow from the house to the fire pit, then shoveled out the fire pit area and made an igloo that surrounded it! We had the best time making s’mores and roasting hotdogs over the open fire.The highlight for me was an evening fire in the most amazing fireplace I’ve ever seen.Loved it!”

“What an amazing stay! The house is right on the river as pictured and even in the bitter cold is such a treat to wake up to listening to that river flow outside. It's on a private road and so serene! The house is so well organized and labeled to assist with operating anything and everything including the pizza oven, sauna, hot tub and more. Just overall a great stay! We hope to come back in the summer to take advantage of more of the outdoor amenities including the fire pit! ”
