Clean and comfortable, close to the subway station with easy access to Tenjin and Hakata. Check-in by video call was a little complicated but great value for money.

The accomodation was near a subway station.
Appartment was clean and nice. But not very big.
Bed is just for 1 person. There was a sleeping couch for the other person. Both beds were very hard. Not very nice to sleep on it.
We had a nice stay. Thank you!

Disliked: Cleanliness
It is close to a convenience store, restaurants, train station, and bus stops. A corner shop named Kukku Chamufujisakiten is selling takeaway bento at attractive price. The udon from Daisuke Udon is a recommended. Maxvalu Express Muromi Shop and Sunny Takatori (supermarkets) are about 10-minute walk from the hostel. Don't miss the streets between Fujisaki and Nishijin stations where interesting restaurants are very popular to the locals. You may even catch a bus to AEON Marina Town.
Fukuoka City Museum, Fukuoka Tower and Momochi Seaside Park are must-visit.
The check-in process may be complicated to non-Japanese speakers and I think a video is needed to demostrate it in details. The toilet may bee too small for big guys. Generally it is good value for money.

The “Japan” Experience
(First and foremost, you will need to hear from the owner via email or text for your door code and instructions to check in because it’s not a normal hotel. I’ve left feedback already on improving the system so just be aware.)
The Stay: If you want to experience Japan to its fullest, then this spot is for you. This is basically an apartment complex turned into hotel. Once you check in, you are granted a key and now have your own Japanese apartment. From head to toe, it has the works; shoes off at the doorway, traditional bathroom and kitchen, balcony, and enough sleeping room for 3 people. As for space, it’s like a studio apartment in the US and that was fine for me. If you want to experience what it would be like to have an apartment, this is perfect. There’s a konbini right around the corner and it’s a short walk to the bus and subway station. Because it is traditional, the walls are a little thin so be mindful of your noise. Aside from that and the check in procedure, it was a nice stay and I would do it again if I’m in the area. Also there was a coin washer and dryer on site too, 400 yen total.

Wasn't even able to check-in
I wasn't even able to enter the building.
The place has no reception, which is fine, but the owner didn't send me the check-in instructions they were supposed to.
Check in time was 3pm. As I arrived at the hotel, I had the unpleasant surprise of seeing there was a lock in the door. A lock for which I didn't have the password cause the owner never contacted me, as they were supposed to, even though I had booked it over a month in advance. This is not mentioned anywhere in the listing, but if you don't receive the password there is nothing you can do because the check-in machine is inside.
I tried to contact the owner through the email posted on the door and waited for 3 hours in front of the hotel, but no response (I don't have a Japanese phone number as I am just a tourist).
I also contacted Hotels.com costumer service, but they were limited in how they could help.
Since it was my first day in Japan, it was raining and I was exhausted, I couldn't wait any longer and ended up paying for another hotel.
I finally got a response at 7:30pm with the check-in instructions that should had been sent long before. It was just a standard message though, no apology and no acknowledgment whatsoever of their mistake.
I am glad I was able to afford another hotel at short notice, but it was an awful experience and almost ruined my trip to Japan.
DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE IF YOU'RE A FOREIGNER, communication is awful and you will be let down.
