“The owner was very nice. Showed us around and told us about all the amenities. She even stocked the refrigerator with some food, milk and yogart which was so helpful because we were so busy the entire time we stayed. The beds were comfortable and we had great nights of sleep. Thank you!”

“My family and I stayed at The Gingerbread House for my brothers graduation from JMU. House is exactly as pictured and described. It’s a perfect and cozy home for family. There were two living areas we could spread out and a perfect little dining room for family meals. The hosts had these cute little bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash set up and plenty of linens. Really lovely stay.”

The host is honestly one of the best I've encountered, providing perfect directions and being super flexible as we had to make some last-minute changes. “We stayed at the lovely property so that we could attend a family reunion at Lost River State Park. The park was only about 7 miles from the house. The home was lovely. Clean and well maintained. We loved the front porch swing and my 12 year old son spent time on the swing off the front porch. We put on water shoes and explored the creek out back too! The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook with food we brought as there are not stores close by. We plan to stay again next year! I……

“This place was fantastic! Clean, quiet, safe, and relaxing. The TV and soundbar setup were extremely high quality, we had a great time playing two player on our Nintendo Switch as well as watching our favorite shows and a movie. The hot tub was clean and functional, the little curtains around it were a very nice touch as the backyards were a little close together and it provided peace and privacy.……
