I DO NOT recommend staying at Socialtel Quito. When I arrived, the staff informed me that the hotel would soon be without power. The place felt like a ghost town—nearly empty, with only a few staff members around. None of the listed facilities were available, and breakfast was not offered, despite being advertised.
It was clear the hotel is in the process of closing, yet they are still accepting reservations without warning guests about the situation. The uncertainty and lack of security made me feel unsafe, and I decided to leave after just one night.
Travelers deserve transparency and basic services. This experience was disappointing and stressful. I hope others are warned before booking here."
