Quaint Country Cottage just minutes from two Guntersville public boat launches. Enjoy the peace of sitting on the screened-in front porch overlooking beautiful green fields. Everything you'll need for families, fishermen, hunters or just a quiet getaway with your friends. Tucked into Conner's Island, this home had plenty of room for boat and trailer parking and hookups. Over 2 acres of running around space.
Come breathe the fresh air and only be minutes from beautiful Lake Guntersville and downtown shopping and restaurants.

Super quiet
Its a nice place off the beaten path, but still very convenient to get to the lake or town/ grocery stores. There is black mold in the roof vents and near the electrical panel.

Property needs a thorough cleaning
Just to note I reached out to the property owner before leaving this review. The property itself is nice and as listed. We had a problem with black mold in the home. It was in the heating system and the vents have black mold all around them. I alerted the home owner and she thanked me for the feedback and said she would alert housekeeping. It did impact our stay there and therefore reflects in my ratings. If the mold was not in the home I would of rated it higher. I do hope the ventilation/heating system is cleaned before a guest has a severe reaction to the mold.

Perfect spot for us
It was like a step back in time. While I attended a shooting event, my wife enjoyed the close by parks and even a walk to the lake from the house. An amazing housing development < 1 mile away is worth a look. We lived our porch time too

Needed a place to stay for a fishing tournament
The property was as described. It's close to multiple boat ramps. It was great to have a place to stay that allowed our pets so that we didn't have to arrange for a pet sitter. Would be perfect for a guys fishing trip.

Cozy transitional home!
After selling our house, we needed a furnished, pet friendly little place to live in while we looked for a home in the Huntsville area. Paw Paws Place was perfect! Charming, cozy and centrally located, it featured all of the comforts of home- including a laundry room. The screened porch offered a lovely spot to relax after a stressful day of house hunting. Cheryl was a great host and I would recommend this little cabin highly!
