“I brought my oldest son here for his 16th birthday, along with his best friend, and his two younger brothers. We had an absolute blast staying here! The cabin was perfect for the five of us, we caught a bunch of fish in Lake Petit, and had a great dinner at Black Bear Pub. My only complaint is that I wish we would have booked for an additional day, because there is so much to do here! Thank you so much, and I plan to return again with my wife!”

“Cottage is small footprint on 3 levels: main level is kitchen, dining, living, half bath, deck, screened porch. Lower level is laundry, screened porch and 2 BR with shared bath with tub/shower combo. Upper level is master BR with bathroom w/shower. “This little cottage is stunning and is just as advertised. Our dog and son loved the pond and the big yard to walk around and explore. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day, and the big porch was great for sipping our coffee while watching our son fish in the pond. “We had a great stay in Big Canoe (family of 6) and really liked the house. We had some issues getting in when we arrived but were able to navigate that semi-quickly. The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. The kitchen is small but has most everything you'll need to make your own meals and save on restaurant costs. “This pretty home is in a more residential area with homes closer together than those we have rented in the past. It was cold so not so much an issue since we weren't using porch or deck. Always love the area and small surrounding towns. Would love king beds in two main bedrooms!”

“This is a hidden little gem that I’m glad I came across. The treehouse and property are absolutely gorgeous. Be sure to take some time to explore the property behind the house alongside the creek. So peaceful but also close to town, wineries, etc. The house is very clean and well maintained. It’s has everything that you need. The property manager is awesome…responds very promptly to questions and provides detailed information to make your stay a breeze. Be sure to get a 4 wheel drive vehicle or……

“It was decent. No bells and whistles but decent. The trail going to the lake is kinda steep and theirs no railing. At the dock their is little railing and a basic dock, not much seating. The bathroom is very small. The kitchen is decent but small and the pots and pans are good. Bring your own seasonings and foil. The towels and rags are pretty worn in. I'd suggest bringing your own. The parking lot is tight. We had 3 cars and have no idea where a 4th would have went. Also, be prepared to load in……

“Fantastic place to stay! Location was fantastic and close to Historical Dahlonega. The space felt bigger than pics which was a nice surprise. Super fast internet which was helpful when I needed to work for a few hrs. The host was amazing, great communication before, during, and after the stay. Thankful for their directions to access this place.”
