Overall our stay was very good. The staff was very friendly and Freddie checked in with us when he was at the desk. The room was very spacious. Only downside is that they didn't come to the room during our stay. We got no fresh towels.

Very quiet, nice kitchenette with full fridge, stovetop and ice machine. Comfy bed. Very good breakfast buffet. Bus stop across street, easy to take Ride On 74 bus to Shady Grove metro station, and from there Red line into DC.

We like this property. The location was very convenient to Rio Washingtonian and was walkable. The room was clean, spacious, well stocked and well laid out. Our only criticism was our sleep was disturbed as the air conditioner was quiet loud.

I stayed with a group at the Residence Inn Gaithersburg for 15 nights. The hotel location was great, 5 minute walk to the Rio Shopping Mall with lots of restaurants, quality shops, and a Super Target for groceries. The hotel serves hot breakfast every morning, included in the room rate. Each room has a full kitchen, including stove and dishwasher, and equipped with dishes, silverware and more. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and managed several special requests without any problem.
