“We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint, clean, and comfortable home overlooking the woods. The very private view from the balcony hot tub was extremely relaxing. The only sounds came from wild turkeys and other birds. The beds are a bit firm...Ikea style with no box springs. The shower was also small so if you are larger, be aware. “We had a great time staying here for a romantic getaway weekend. Apartment was very clean and a fun place to stay. It is right in the heart of downtown Galena a perfect location to enjoy shopping, fine dining, and beautiful historic architecture. Street Parking was a struggle, as there is no designated parking. The WiFi was very slow and spotty, so be prepared to unplug (mostly) when you visit. Great place to spend the weekend! Would highly recommend!”

“We enjoyed our time at this location and the owners were super communicative and very helpful. One thing I didn’t understand from the listing is that the bottom floor of this home is empty currently. also didn’t understand that the bathroom would be in the hallway and not enclosed in the two room and sitting area suite. Place was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. You can walk to town in 12 minutes and we enjoyed our stay.”

“Enjoyed our three days. Very clean townhouse. Great golf view. Would stay again, but we would need assurance that the trouble we encountered attempting to access the internet was rectified. “The location was Great, GPS off a lil bit. There was a messy tree that our shoes dragged little buds in all the time. The key box was a little hard to open. The pool was not used because we couldn't figure out what or where to go. There are a lot of stairs. It is on three different floors. Missing was a home feeling. “Description described the propery to a T. While it would be a 15 minute or so walk to Main Street, we did drive as there was no way our old lady bones could have walked those hills especially with all our shopping bags.. “Everything was great except we chose this location because my sister wanted to have a glass of wine in the restaurant the night we got in as it had a restaurant/bar that no other location had. We paid more for this hotel for that reason and it was closed on Mondays which was the night we stayed there. That’s the only reason for the 4 rating instead of the 5. ”
