“The host was not around when we arrived even though we told her we would be arriving early. The grounds were run down and when we tried to contact her there was no wifi or cell coverage at that remote location. Because of poor communication and the run down appearance of the place we decided to stay elsewhere.”

“Lovely home with a tranquil view of the water. We did not want for anything.”

“We loved spending time at The Salty Mermaid between our adventures on Vancouver Island! This beautiful cabin had everything & more & the decorations were right up our alley. Cerie was a wonderful hostess & there were great recommendations for restaurants near by. We would love to stay again!”

“Beautiful, spacious, clean, stylish. Everything you need. Full, well equipped kitchen. Lovely deck space. Gas fireplace. Super comfy bed. Absolutely perfect!”

“This is simply fabulous! Sheer comfort in every way. Living space, furniture, bedding, towels. Loved it.”

“Beautiful little town, very comfortable and clean little unit. The bedroom is very spacious and comfortable, as is the rest of the unit with good amenities and beautiful places to walk around close by. My only critique is that while the couch is technically a pull out that can accommodate another two people, it is not worth sleeping on, as is. With a mattress topper it would be fine, but it's hellishly lumpy without. Otherwise a beautiful stay! I would absolutely stay there again, just not with……

“Extremely good value! Property as described-rustic and clean. Spacious and well stocked. Nice swimming spot in the river, too. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars all around is that none of the windows in the house can be opened (except one, right beside the door). On two days of our visit it was quite hot, and it was difficult to cool the house down. There were several fans which was nice-we just opened the door wide and ran the fans before bedtime. Some more fresh air would have been……

“Great host and place to stay in cobble hill. Close to many amenities. Just bring your groceries if you want to cook in the suite or make coffee. Very clean and comfortable. All kitchen items available to use. Linens and towels provided. There are kids above you hear in the day(normal) you sleep sound at night! Would highly recommend. Thank you!”

“Clean, convenient, dog friendly”

“If you have nothing good to say don’t say anything.”

“Dreamy, clean, bright, thoughtful and worth your money.”

“Loved our stay here - we wished we could have stayed for more than one night! Thanks for being a great host!”

“The location of this property was perfect for our needs. Close to the airport and Richmond Night Market where we had an excellent meal. The best find for me was the extra sleeping area in the kitchen with a reclining couch. The tv room was also great because the door could be closed so my son and daughter were not disturbed when I stayed up. My son had to be at the airport at 3:30 am for his flight and my daughter had an easy time getting him there. We also appreciated the snacks the host……

“Splendid stay. Everything you need is here. Super clean. Good job for the housekeepers. Highly recommended!”
