"A gem of a guest house style hotel tucked away up an atmospheric mountain road at the foot of a number of trails, surrounded by forest and with a stream across the front of the property. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options including authentic curry options alongside the more traditional menu. We had a room for 4 which was large enough for two adults and two teenagers. No a/c but with the cooler mountain air the evenings were pleasant. A fan and open window would help keep it comfortable through the night. We had an immensely enjoyable first visit to Slovenia and our stay at Gosticse Draga was a big part of that. Thank you."

"There was a hared shower with other rooms that didn’t have a lock on the door. Laundry should not be listed as an amenity. It should be listed as off site. We expected to be able to use in unit laundry when we booked, that was something we needed. The AC was nice to have. The room was not as sound proof as we thought. We shared a wall with the kitchen and it was very noisy around 5:00-8:00am Overall it was a good stay. The pictures were a bit deceiving when we realized the bathroom was detached from the room. No issues overall."

"Beautiful hotel. Our room faced the promenade side of the lake and got the sun in the afternoon. Views were stunning, its a gorgeous place. Breakfast was excellent. Loads of variety, enough to keep you full until dinner. The private beach and allocated sunbeds for the duration was a particular highlight as was the beach bag you were given to use. Staff were nice, everything was clean and I really enjoyed it."

"Perfect location, spotless rooms, and incredibly friendly staff! Hotel Azul exceeded all my expectations. The property was peaceful and quiet, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic with plenty of great options. Excellent value for money—I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
