The front desk was helpful in attending to my needs. I had high expectations before coming to the place because I thought the place was a four star hotel. I had filtered for 3-star hotel and above when booking in Expedia app and Expedia identified this hotel as a four star but on getting to the hotel I figured out that the hotel is a 2-star hotel. My room didn’t have a coffee maker and I had to call to request for that to be brought into my room and I had to call again to get shower gel because there was none in the bathroom... The infrastructure and the service are just good enough for a 2-star hotel. It wasn’t the type of treat and place I was hoping to give myself on my birthday this weekend hence my trip to the area.

When checking in (late) the doors were locked and it took a long time for someone to respond. There were several people waiting (some were already guests). There were roaches all over the property. 2 sleepless night because of the amount of noise/music all hours of the night and early morning. No patrol of the property. Tv outlet did not work, so had to personally “re route” electrical chord. Rooms smelled of weed/stall cigarettes. There are so many hotels in Galveston this is Absolutely not one I would put anyone in. This was for my family who was visiting, I am embarrassed that this is what I chose. The girls at the front seemed confused most of the time.

Annoying LOUD sliding door for after hour check in. No service recovery and barely an apology if that after given a room with no working phone when ambulance was needed. You get what you pay for if it was just to access thr beach and leave. We were looking for more than that.

Had to ask for another room because the toilet wouldn’t flush and it had mold on the curtains the Second room was dirty as well with urine all over the toilet and toothpaste all over the sink. I checked out a they told me I was going to get a refund. But the following day, I received an email saying that my refund was denied by the Manager. I called the manager an she told me that I was not getting a refund because the room was dirty. I called the manager and she told me that the rooms were dirty that that’s why I was not getting a refund.

It was clean but several items in the room were broken and missing such a the hairdryer was missing and the tv remote was broken. Thankfully the staff and maintenance were very helpful as they supplied a new hairdryer for our use. The hotel lobby was clean. The door to our room would not lock properly. The alarm continually went off the plunger in the sink stuck. We had to use a knife to open it each time. The refrigerator froze. Our food. I went to the front desk she said call Expedia. She never wrote down these things so that they could repair them in the future for someone, I have stayed here before this. I was incredibly disappointed. I could not get in touch with Expedia no matter what I did. I finally called American Express contest. !!

This place is disgusting. There were stains all over the walls of our room and roaches in the bathroom. The whole room had a weird smell to it. I was afraid to lay in the bed. We moved next door. Do not book this place!
