They canceled our reservation!

I can't imagine why you would send this email since you canceled our reservation with only one day's notice. We booked months ago and you waited until one day before our stay. We are severely disappointed.

Worse reservation ever!!!!!!!!

Worst reservation ever. Booked this september of 2022for a stay in may of 2023. Received an email saying they were looking forward to my stay and they would send a room number and code at 2 pm the day of my stay. I drove 14 hours and arrived a little early around 9 am the day of our stay. Since it is right on the beach we planned to just play and swim on beach until check in. We did that then arrived at the property at 2pm on day of stay. No email arrived, no workers around. Called emergency number and was told reservations were having an issue and it would be sent shortly. 2 other parties had arrived also and neither had any communication about their stay. 430 now and still no email or text and the emergency number is no longer picking up. I had to leave my 2 sons at the property with our luggage because i gad to pick up more people from the airport. Some workers were replacing an air-conditioning unit so i asked about someone to contact, he walked me to the beach were the owner was fishing. I asked the owner for help and he said he couldnt do anything that they were having a resetvation issue and they would send something shortly. I left to airport. At 5 pm the other 2 parties received emails sayingbtheir reservation was cancelled. No reason or explanation. I never received anything. Owner came up around 730 and asked if we still needed help. I said yes and he left. We ended up staying at another location. Never received any information.

Steer Clear!!!

I booked this place for my 19 year old daughter to stay this past weekend, and conditions were so bad that she ended up crashing on the couch of the property I was staying at instead. The beds were not made, there was not a single towel to be found anywhere, the walls and bathroom were dirty and stained, there was no wi-fi, and the remote for the TV did not function. When she and her partner checked in, the AC would not turn on, so she contacted the owner. It had been unplugged, but that was not obvious due to the location of the unit. This would not have been a problem, except that the owner's behavior was quite erratic when he came by to look at it, and after solving the issue, he made a crude gesture at her with his tongue. She and her partner did not feel safe staying there due to his behavior, and vacated the property immediately, leaving the key where they found it.

Had high hopes but ended disappointed.

Had to call to get room and access code. Did not send out as stated. Hot tub was GREEN (shame it wasn't in working order). Seems like facility had good ideas in past but nothing has been maintained/repaired. Mattress was just 5 inch foam. We left a day early to sleep in our own bed. Seems more of a hostel feel. Very minimal. Seems owner is trying to squeeze ever penny from it without putting any money into it. We tried something different for us, but I don't think we will be back.

The photos do not look anything like this property. Our room was so filthy I spent $30 on cleaning supplies to try and clean the nasty disgusting bathroom. Sheets had stains. Mold everywhere. We both did not sleep a wink. Very sketchy. Non-responsive management. It was horrible.

The only recommendation we have is that a soap dispenser or bottle of soap with paper towels be available so you can wash your hands after using the restroom and before you eat. The beds were comfortable and we really did not spend much time in the room but overall it was a great place on the beach with easy access!!

They cancelled our reservation! Had not received our text with code and room # by 3pm, called again at 3:30, put us off again, called again at 4pm, was rude to us! At 4:10, called again and he said our room was cancelled! I will expect a full refund on my credit card immediately! And sewer was overflowing and smelled awful outside!

Paid for our room in advance thru Expedia. When we arrived at the property I received a text message from the Property Manager who wanted me to text him my credit card information. When I asked for a secure method to share this financial information, he did not respond & we could not access our room. Terrible customer service! We had to find another place to stay yet, the Boardwalk would not give us access to a room nor did they refund our money. Be prepared to be disappointed!

Awful Horrible No Good Very Bad Day

We were extremely excited about staying on the Boardwalk. But when we arrived we were a little disappointed. NONE of the advertised amenities were useable. We understood that the pool would not be available as it is December but thought all the other things would make it a great stay with kids. My 13 year old was horrified. We were honestly gonna make the best of it. But the next day i left a google review of the property and with in minutes the property manager was calling me screaming and cussing. He not politely told us to get off the property and then hung up . He then would not take our phone calls (we tried multiple times) or text messages. We contacted Hotels.com and they said there was nothing they could do because of a none canvellation policy. We did remove ourselves from the property, leaving our room cleaner than we found it. 3 days later we still have not heard back from the property manager. We ate $501 worth for 1 night, and still had to go find somewhere else to stay for the remaining 3 nights of our vacation. Still waiting to see if the extra $190 pending on our credit card will drop off. The Boardwalk knows how to ruin a vacation.
