Great spot to have a multi family vacation! Has everything you need and extra amenities such as beach toys, wagons, grills, crock pots and air fryer!

Beautiful and clean property!

The property was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed, including kitchen items, bath items, and pantry items. All of the sheets and towels are provided and or ample. The house was also beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent Pointe West stay!

The house was wonderful for our group of three families with young kids! Clean, well-stocked, and it has excellent common spaces with lots of seating and room to play. Daniel is a pro at managing a vacation rental and it appeared in all the details. We would definitely rent this house again. This was our sixth stay in Pointe West and it was great as always. We prefer the bay side because of the great sunsets and proximity to the family pool. Our kids love riding through tunnel on the golf cart to the beach too.

Family Time

Lovely home, lots of puzzles that we enjoyed, decor was perfect, well supplied kitchen, plenty of beach towels. We would rent again. Refrigerator was not working well and we would advise having a large cooler with you as that is what we had to use the first day. Property manager said to keep the refrigerator door closed until the next morning and then to only open it when necessary. There were 2 large bags of ice in freezer and the freezer worked really well so that helped keep the food cold that we had brought. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning kept it really cool inside. It was very clean. Lots of space to spread out.

Overall good

For context, we came to visit about 2 weeks after a hurricane so keep that in mind. The house itself appeared to be struggling in its construction. There was a water spot on the ceiling of the bunk room that actually shed some plaster and it was still wet to touch. The flooring had many gaps where it looked like they ran out of material and the bottom floor had an area where the floor was really uneven. There weren’t enough dishes in the house for our group of 10 so things like forks were a hot commodity for us and there weren’t any pot holders provided so we had to make do with some dish towels we found. All that said, the property was very clean and management was super responsive when I contacted them (there was an issue with the sheets in one of the bedrooms and they had someone there within an hour to do a complete linen change for us). There were more than enough towels for all of us which really was so nice and laundry detergent and toilet paper was all supplied which we’ve learned is not always the case. Also, checkout was so simple. Many places want you to do all their chores for them on checkout and that wasn’t the case here. They simply asked us to take out the trash, do the dishes and leave linens on the floor. It made loading up our crew way less stressful and we truly appreciated it. Overall, the house served our needs and treated our families well. I’m sure that many of the troubles with the house were related to issues brought by the weather.

Beautiful Home, Perfect Location

We love Pointe West. First time in this home but we’re no stranger to the neighborhood. Home was beautifully decorated, well supplied and spotless clean when we arrived. We even got in a few hours early which was much appreciated. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Couldn’t locate the karaoke machine or board games but we spent most of our time at the beach or pool. Front door was my only complaint, was very difficult to open and close. We will definitely book this house again.

overall enjoyed our stay. Cons: table outside ready to fall apart - had to keep our kids away from it in fear of it falling on them. cushions on master balcony missing on 1 of the chairs. all exterior doors really hard to open/close. kitchen pots/pans need to be replaced along with the grill. lots of stairs, would be nice to have a lift/elevator. Pros: house was nice, beds were comfortable, nice location, enjoyed subdivision pool, freezer downstairs was a nice touch - (would be great to have a fridge too), breeze downstairs in the afternoon was very enjoyable.

Multigeneration family weekend was amazing in this beautiful home. Host was responsive to all needs (and went above and beyond to get a special teddy bear back to us when it was accidentally left behind). Hope to come back soon!

Wonderful stay beautiful home

We had an amazing stay in Galveston. The house was so beautiful and the views from each balcony were wonderful! The house was very clean and beautifully kept! We loved the super close beach access and you can pull your car right up to the water and just unload everything and play or relax! The pools were also very nice and well kept! The house was amazing for us traveling with little ones, the baby gates and cribs made our stay and travel that much easier!

AMAZING house!

The pictures don’t do this house justice! It was spotlessly clean and smelt great! All of the beds were so comfortable and the sheets were soft. Daniel really knows what he’s doing with this rental! We had 14 people aged 3 to 83 and everyone said this was the BEST vacation house they had ever stayed in. We will be back again for sure in the future!!

Lovely!

This place was perfect for the 2 families with young kids. The house was beautiful, very clean and quietly located between the bay and Oceanside. The house had plenty of beach toys for the young kids to take to the beach and we loved being able to use the heated pool, hot tub and lazy river which is a quick walk (this pool house is located right in the neighborhood). The owner was very quick to respond and made the check-in and out seem less. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

All we hoped for and more...

We've stayed at Point West 4 years and this is the first time on the bayside. It was wonderful! Sunsets on one balcony and sunrise on the other. The pond for fishing and crabbing out our backdoor for the kids was perfect, too. The home was comfortable and spacious for the 14 of us. We spent so much time on the balcony so that was just an extra living space as well. We loved the longer golf cart ride to the beach actually! We'll be back!

Beach Bliss

Gorgeous house. Perfect location. Easy access and quick communication. Our week at the beach was great. We love Pointe West and usually stay ocean front, but we decided to try bayside this time. Everyone had a blast and the house was just as pretty as the pics and fully stocked. I was a little surprised that with all the kitchen offered, we didn’t have wine glasses. First time ever. But that was a tiny hiccup compared to how perfect everything else was. And Daniel was so friendly, easy to contact, and super fast to respond. Couldn’t ask for more!
