“Wunderschönes Haus abseits vom Tourismus-Trubel. Trotzdem sind alle Lebensnotwendigen Dinge problemlos zu Fuß oder gegeben falls in wenigen Minuten mit den supergünstigen Tucktuck´s zu erreichen.
Der Gastgeber ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr bemüht einem wirklich jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.
Wir bedanken uns nochmal ganz herzlich für den Perfekten Urlaub.

“We had a wonderful stay at the Flower Road Villa! There are three bedrooms upstairs with king beds and en suite bathrooms; this is the space with air conditioning. The living areas downstairs are spacious and take advantage of indoor/outdoor continuity. The location was quiet and well situated to get around Colombo. Most impressively the staff was fantastic. They are on site 24 hrs per day and can prepare homemade meals using organic produce when requested. The staff was so helpful with my……

“We rented this property thinking that we were renting the whole house as advertised. It turns out that that this house is a hostel as per the sign out front and we were given one room. After some discussion with the owner we were given three rooms. The owner had not been paid by VRBO and I had paid VRBO one month ahead of time. I had to leave one day early as our filghts were cancelled due to the virus situation so did not use the last day. one of the chairs I was sitting on broke and I almost……

“One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. Needless to say a poor management by owner and totally irresponsible behaviour. Please don't waste your money by looking at beautiful pics of the villa. Save your money for better stay. Even worst hotels will give better……

"The staff need to be re-trained. House keeping was inconsistent - four towels, then two. Six waters, then none. Laundry had to be chased. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were appalling. Cutting in front all the time when walking, standing in groups talking whilst we were trying to open doors. Being told to move tables! Unhelpful at best. This is not a five star experience. Not even close."

"Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean.
Our room was nice and spacious and clean.
Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around.
Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg.
Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us).
The breakfast and dinner buffet had great food, and the performer at the dinner buffet also played our song requests!
Great place overall, would definitely recommend. "
