Just what we wanted.

Private, quiet, unpretentious but lots of history around the property. We spent most of our time alternating between the lovely pool and the cool of the house. Big family meals and parties. Although there were 20 of us the house rarely seems full. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay

We were with a group of 15 university friends from way back and we thoroughly enjoyed Thiery's accommodation. It was so well equipped that each of each could sleep in a separate bed and even so that the heavy snorers had a room to themselves. Thiery's tips on where to find the supermarket, baker, good but reasonably priced restaurants were very useful. And Myriam was an excllent host upon reception. We used the house to plan several day trips in about an hours drive distance. And it was great to relax at the pool, open fire or bbq upon return at the end of the day.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances à une vingtaine dans cette belle maison, spacieuse, pleine de grandes chambres, authentique, avec une belle piscine et un grand jardin. La cuisine est un peu petite mais très bien équipée. Merci à Thierry pour son aide et le prêt de lits supplémentaires pour constituer un "dortoir" pour nos ados!

Belle bâtisse dans un cadre calme et idyllique avec une grande piscine agréable et parfaitement équipée de transats, chaises longues et parasols. La literie est très confortable mais l’ensemble de la maison n’est pas correctement entretenu pour le niveau des prestations attendues.Quelques exemples: l’évier de la cuisine est maintenu par 4 vis, le bois du plan de travail porte de nombreuses marques de moisissure, les joints des salle de bain, les têtes de lit auréolées ne sont pas à la hauteur de ce que nous attendions de cette location et du prix déboursé. Les attaches du rideau de la piscine et certaines margelles descellées sont à surveiller pour assurer une meilleure sécurité des utilisateurs. Enfin nous n’avons pas du tout apprécié la présence bruyante et trop matinale de la famille nombreuse du propriétaire, qui n’a pas jugé utile de nous avertir de sa venue (2 jours sur 7!). Nous avons souffert de beaucoup trop de promiscuité en fin de séjour.

Maison idéale pour se retrouver entre amis/famille quand on est nombreux. Le cadre (jardin et forêt) est magnifique et la grande piscine très agréable. Les chambres sont confortables mais tout comme les salles de bains de qualité inégale. Brandey est une maison qui a beaucoup de charme, avec un très grand pré et des bois où les enfants ont adoré jouer. Un grand merci aux propriétaires qui nous ont indiqué une petite boulangerie artisanale à proximité, et nous ont autorisés à cueillir les mirabelles et prunes d’ente dans le pré! 😋😋😋 Nous avons aussi bien profité de la piscine. Visites et activités intéressantes aux alentours (St Émilion, spectacle de Castillon, etc. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre semaine à Brandey. Merci!

La location a le charme de l'ancien, le terrain est très vaste et comporte un bois, idéal pour que les enfants fassent des explorations. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Par contre, la cuisine/ salle à manger peut être étroite pour les grands groupes. La literie au 1ier étage est à améliorer. le propriétaire vit de l'autre côté du batiment mais il est très discret. Bon site pour découvrir l'est de la Gironde

Beautiful ancient house with a large garden

We had a wonderful week with a group of 24 friends. The communication with the owner Thierry was very easy. We especially enjoyed the big garden and great swimmingpool. Soms parts of the house are a bit old, but since we stayed most of the time outside, this wasnt a big deal. Would definitely recommend to other groups!
