"We stayed here this past weekend. The room itself was big & spacious. The front desk attendant however was pretty rude when we arrived. We are from out of town so tried to call & see if we could check in early but just got left on hold. Upon arrival (we were about 30-45 minutes early) we asked if their was any early check in and she said check in was at 4 accross the board without even checking if any rooms were ready… we then asked if we could store our bags at least and she said do we look like we do bag storage which is a pretty rude way of communicating that wasn’t an option. We returned later after getting some food and there was a new desk attendant who was much kinder a young gentleman and he had a much better attitude & responses. The room itself was a lot bigger than expected & very spacious. The location is pretty central so within walking distance to a lot of sites/ food etc. the building does have a lot of interesting characters that hangout out front (homeless etc) but they didn’t bother us we just went on our way. I would stay here again for the price point/ convenience but if you’re looking for the 5 star hotel service/ experience this is not it. It feels more like a airbnb or rented apartment."

"I stayed two days came from out of town for a graduation and once I checked in, the girl at check-in counter was not very helpful and not very courteous. She definitely did not make me feel welcomed there. Also it was a bit pricey considering that the rooms look a little out dated. My room wasn’t cleaned the best but it was ok. The pros were the beds are comfortable and it was close to where I was going."

"Location to Comerica Field was absolutely perfect. Everything is walkable from the hotel. My only complaint is the bathrooms had mold in bathtub and that grosses me out. The street noise was loud and the curtains don't block out the sun coming up at 5something in June. We would stay again just because of location but if we found something that felt cleaner that had same walking distance we would definitely choose the later."

"I stayed one night for work. The room was clean, the area was safe, but nothing else to really speak of. It worked for exactly what I needed, but if I was there on vacation it would have been very underwhelming."

"There was 2 of us that stayed in a double room. BUT. They were double mattresses on queen sized platforms. As a result, both my friend and I kicked the edges of the beds several times. We both tripped and fell over the edges and I got a large bruise. I brought it up to front desk when checking out and they had security come down with a form for us to fill out. We were in a hurry to catch our ride so I asked for them to email me the form. I got nothing. Then I called and was transferred to a number that had me leave a message and no one called me back. I paid ALOT for ONE night and no one had the decency to contact me, talk to me. Nothing. Will never stay again. No regard for dangerous situations."

"Amazing staff! The bar area was good (food & staff). Our rooms were nice. Bathrooms need to be updated and the lobby area looks great but the artificial plants were very dusted."
