I arrived at the property early and was shown a Café where I could wait, which was only a short walk away. The staff were quite accommodating at first, but when they showed me my room, I was shocked to see that a large double bed completely covered the living area. I asked the staff person showing me the room if she could do something about it but she remained non-committal.
I thin examined the bed to find that it was two single beds put together so I went and asked the staff if they could remove one of these, once again they we non-committal even though on a notice they put under my door it said, ‘Our staff will be happy to help you with whatever you need to make your experience even more comfortable.’
The next day I took action myself and put the second mattress on its side against the wall, together with the metal frame. I then had room to live in.
