"90% of the staff were pleasant and helpful, this was just a two night stay for me.
They have wifi, which worked with spotty dips in my first floor room.
Television seemed to emit heat, and picture wasn't very clear...but it worked!
A printed guide of the channels available would be helpful in the rooms.
As a person with mobility issues - I'd advise calling before arriving to ensure your specific needs are met. You will likely need to repeat at check-in, but at least they will know what you need prior to arriving.
I did not opt for an 'accessible room' because I needed the room to be close to the lobby.
That choice landed me in the smoking area of my floor ( both kinds) which I could taste while in the room. I travel with air fresheners and they were used completely. My clothing will do with another washing as the remnants linger...
Viky ( Male) was very helpful with my inquiries and Jerome was outstanding with the help I needed getting my bags out to the car. He deserves a raise.
Overall, I am probably not the type of clientele the Hilltop Inn usually services - and as they are still in business what they do works for the regular clientele. The pleasant treatment saved this stop for me, and the rooms and bath room- while in need of updating , were clean. Make-up(?) stains on bathroom wall were easily remedied with my sanitizing wipes. Floors were not sticky or filled with any grime or crumbs. Insect free."
