“The setting is absolutely stunning. We had great weather and access to the river was terrific. Such a relaxing place. Lots of wildlife around including European beavers. An incredible range of things to do in the surrounding area and for the British a relatively easy drive down from the channel ports. ”

“Very high quality of fixtures and fittings in a splendid barn conversion - absolutely delightful! The location is splendid, surrounded by vineyards which you can walk around, and a delightful garden. Very handy for exploration of the Loire Valley, its towns and chateaux, and of course wineries. The hosts, Francine and Claude, could not be more friendly and welcoming. Usually living in the main house next door, they were away for much of the time that we stayed, but support is available if……

“Lovely house and garden, the pictures do not do it justice. Very clean and comfortable, beautifully and sympathetically restored. Check in was straight forward, and communication with Didier and Patricia very easy. They were helpful and attentive hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and that the central heating was working etc. We would be happy to return with family and would definitely recommend. Beautiful area with lots to do and see.”

“Place was excellent, great for a cycling trip with work mates. Slight issue when we turned up, but Giles sorted out straight away. Place was great five stars all over. The only thing that was annoying was the flies. Thousands of them. We went out and bought about ten fly strips which when we put up had hundreds of flies on them. Rooms were excellent, massive fire place which was great. Hot water always there and a great swimming pool. It was a bit damp and musky in the downstairs bedrooms.……

“We have had such a wonderful stay in this cosy and well equipped cabin. Although it's small everything you could possibly need was there. It was super clean and comfortable and set in the most beautiful garden. The bathroom/shower were excellent and the bed felt very snug behind its curtains. The air-conditioning was also much appreciated. We were able to walk easily into Amboise in around 10 minutes. The vires for he deck is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the peaceful……

“Nous avons loué cette magnifique longere pour 4 jours. Nous étions 12 adultes. Le soleil était de la partie. Nous avons tous passé un séjour exceptionnel. Le site est magnifique. La maison est très confortable. De très beaux matériaux. Décoration sobre. Tout est prévu pour accueillir 14 personnes. L accueil par les 2 propriétaires est très pro. Nous songeons déjà d'y retourner l année prochaine pour une réunion de famille. Nous recommandons vivement cette prestation. Vraiment.”
