Beautiful, Remote Cabin in the Mountains
We enjoyed our stay! The drive up to the cabin was an adventure, but the hosts gave us great tips to find the cabin. We saw a family of bears on our drive to the cabin which was a highlight of the trip. The location is great for hiking and sightseeing in the park and visiting Gatlinburg for dinner and drinks. The cabin had everything we needed and very comfortable for 2 couples. Very quiet area. We enjoyed the upper deck and hot tub. Our only comment was the bed was very squeaky and probably just needs to tighten up some screws. We will be back. Hosts were great and very responsive to our questions!

Amazing!!
We went for our 25TH wedding anniversary. This is the same challet we stayed at for our honeymoon. It is very private and spacious. I couldn't have been happier to see that it was still there and kept up so well. Everything we needed was already there. We even had a mama bear and her cubs stop by at the end of the drive. Adrina is one of the best hosts I have come across since using Vrbo. I only gave it 5 stars because that's as high as the scale goes. 5+++ stars.

Wish there was better communication.
We werent able to stay our whole trip due to the weather and taking s chance to being stuck on the mountain so we had to leave early. We were hoping for a refund for the days we couldnt stay. When we contacted the owner we were ignored. So we were forced to stay in another location down the mountain.

Amazing Getaway Spot
The house was extremely well maintained, with everything needed for an amazing week/weekend away in the mountains. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a lovely vacation. While the drive up looks a little bit difficult it is much easier than it looks and it is extremely beautiful and well worth it. As soon as I entered the house it gave me that warm cozy feeling. It had the most comfortable bed, and the hot tub was just perfect. Adrina was very helpful with every aspect of the trip, she was amazing and I couldn’t be more thankful. It was one of the best vacations I’ve had!!

Great weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again. The amenities were just as they were listed online, it was very clean, the location was great and the Privacy was fantastic. We would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a place to stay in Gatlinburg. The view is spectacular and it was close to town so it was convenient to all of the entertainment and shopping in the area.

Wonderful spot!
This was a great place to stay. Beautiful, clean, private. Nice little kitchen, comfy bed, clean hot tub, checked all my boxes... Only cons are very steep driveway, could only make it up with 4x4 when the snow melted. Also the pool table (its real nice with beautiful new felt) is cramped in the corner, needed to use the little stick on three sides. We had fun with it but it was weird using the small stick, we had brought our own sticks to play some matches together but we "grinned and beared it" (if you move the table, there is a 150 dollar leveling fee.) That said, we really liked this romantic spot, would recommemd.

A True Mountain Getaway
Great views right in the middle of a mountain village. This is a perfect place for a secluded nature getaway. Definitely a place where you want to shut in for several days. The hot tub is perfectly placed on the patio and you can see all the fun at Ober Mountain. Loved it there.

Amazing view
This little cabin was perfect for our little weekend getaway. It’s was clean, comfortable, there was no odd smells, and the hot tub was perfect! I will add that you may need 4x4 to get up the driveway since it’s quite steep but the cabin is on the side/top of a mountain which is what we wanted and loved every bit of it.

The cabin was a beautiful place for us to spend our anniversary. Adrina made sure we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with. The fireplace below nice. The pool table was in excellent condition and had a small pool stick for the tight spaces. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Adrina.

Terrifying drive to get to the property
The drive to the property is on VERY narrow and extremely winding roads straight up a mountain and many hairpin turns to reach the property. Driving up the mountain to the property we could only see the hood of our truck many times due to the steepness. Not safe to drive it unless you are a local and very familiar with the area. The property description never said anything until after booking and then only said if you are there in Jan and Feb you are required to have chains. That information does not automatically translate to terrifying drive all year. We had to leave after the first night due to the danger reaching the property. We paid for two nights and have requested half our money be refunded by the owner. She declined so we have escalated the matter.

It was really nice and peaceful the only thing if you stay here you might want to use a 4 wheel drive car to get up the driveway it rained and we could barely get up the driveway with a front wheel drive car but besides that I would highly recommend staying here

We had an amazing stay! Everything about this property is as advertised and more. It was so peaceful and quiet. We couldnt see another Chalet even though they were around. The only thing we did not expect has how huge the bedroom was it was beautiful.

Very clean and great host
Very tranquil view and just as described! We enjoyed our stay up in the mountains. The drive up can be very intimidating at first, but after 2 or 3 times up it gets easier! The house was spotless and beautiful inside. The pictures of the place are pretty accurate. The decks are a little smaller but the tranquility and the view is perfect! The jacuzzi in the bedroom is a plus! Get ready to see bears around the cabin and on the drive up. Adrina is a great host and very responsive to any issues that come up. So glad we found this gem up high in the Ober mountains!

Absolutely amazing
Property was just as described. A very nice mountain chalet provided a very relaxing getaway for me and my girlfriend. Owner was very nice and very helpful. Any time I asked a question prior to our arrival owner was very quick to respond. I would recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a relaxing and tranquil mountain getaway. Will definitely be staying here again.

I like it best when people just give me the pros and cons so here goes: PROS: *The view is nice. *It was clean when we arrived. *The private bedroom suite was a nice get away from our teenager who had a comforable space downstairs. *The jacuzzi in the bedroom is a plus. *The kitchen was well stocked with for any cooking you might wish to do. *The owner was easy to work with. *The hot tub was clean and warm enough. * The bed was comfortable. CONS: *We felt the photos are very deceiving. The place could really use cleaned/replaced carpet and a coat of paint throughout. The whole place felt smaller than it appears in the pictures. The decks are MUCH smaller. *There's not enough hot water to fill up the jacuzzi and the water runs so slowly that- by the time it's half full- the hot water has run out and the water in the tub is just warm. *The pool table is nearly impossible to use since it is so close to the wall. *The staircase to upstairs is quite narrow so it was hard to maneuver a larger suitcase up the stairs. *The driveway is a nightmare as it is extremely steep and the surface is rough. It is difficult to turn around in a mid-size car and even a bit scary driving down it in good weather. This is not a place you would want to be in the winter! Even the roads to get from Gatlinburg are very narrow and have no guardrails in places although they are very much needed! *A 10 am checkout is just too early when you're on a vacation and I found it unreasonable to have to pay extra to extend it to a later time when I had already paid more than I feel like it was worth. In summary-- for the discounted rate that we paid--I guess it was nice enough. Having stayed there, I would not even consider paying the peak season rate though. Would I go back in the off season?? Probably since we are not really picky people and the overall stay was nice for my family.

Perfect Getaway!!!
From the initial booking all the way to check out we could have not ask for a more perfect getaway. The host was very responsive and amazing. She checked in throughout the trip just to make sure everything was okay. The cabin was perfect! The photos don’t do it justice! We have now found our yearly getaway home. We WILL be back. The host and house deserve way more than 5 stars.

It needs to be updated. The drains are very slow when you run water and a lot of the lights dont work. Plugging into an outlet to charge my phone and it sparked. It was a nice cabin but probably will not stay again due to it needs some work.

Loved the house & views that came with it! Our trip was cut short due to the icy/snowy roads but we had a blast while we were there. Adrina was more than helpful anytime we needed her & responded immediately. We’ll definitely book again when it’s not snowing! Lol.

The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The bedding was super comfortable (I've already ordered the pillows they had supplied!). If I'm ever in the Smokies again, this is where I'd stay.

Mountain experience
Renting this property was a very quick and easy process. Owner does an excellent job communicating with you and is always willing to assist with any needs. The location is about 5-10 mins away from downtown Gatlinburg , it is up very winding roads but you can still find it with ease. The views while going up the to the house are absolutely amazing. We actually saw multiple black bears while there(mainly traveling to the house) it was first time that we had seen bears in the wild. Pretty cool experience. We were able to go back and forth to downtown easily, Smokey mountain national park is also very close. The property was well taken care of. We used the hot tub every evening, it was very relaxing after a long day walking and seeing sites. The pool table was nice and we played every evening, though we do suggest repositioning the table as it was difficult for some shots as the table was too close to the walls and the pool cues were too long to get a good shot. That didn’t take away from experience and we would consider it just a minor improvement. It was a great stay and definitely would stay again in the future.

Chalet anniversary getaway
The drive up to the chalet was awful and extremely steep. Checkin was at 4 but the cleaning "crew" was still there at 5 with their child. The home wasn't properly cleaned and there was no room to play pool as you couldn't move the pool stick due to the walls being to close. The bed was not as pictured and the hot tub was uncomfortable. The host was impossible to get in touch with. The host was supposedly going to leave coupons for us but did not and she was also suppose to give us access to a few pools which she did not. Our experience was so awful that we will never do this sort of thing again.

Grin and Bear It Chalet
The property was so beautiful and cozy, it was so nice to come back to after we would spend the day in Gatlinburg or out doing activities. The driveway is a little scary but it’s worth it, and we had absolutely not a single other complaint. The host was so sweet and very good at communicating and was always checking in to make sure our experience there was the best it could be and it was! We will definitely consider coming back again the next time we find ourselves in Gatlinburg!

This was our first time down to Tennessee and this property was absolutely beautiful! Watching the sunset from the top deck was breathtaking, we couldn’t get enough. When we first got there you could still smell the cleaning solution so you knew the home was well sanitized. The hot tub was clean and we used it often. We loved having the whole house to ourselves, complete with a kitchen and a small grill out back so we didn’t have to spend as much on food in town. The location is a ways out from town, but we didn’t mind. It’s so incredibly quiet and peaceful, and we also saw multiple bear walking the roads at night as we started our climb up in the car. If we ever get back down to Gatlinburg area, we’d rebook this location without hesitation! The only thing that made us a little nervous was how steep the driveway was. We made it though!

Chalet was very clean and comfortable.
This was a very quiet place, you could hear neighbors if you we outside. But lots of trees and leaves all round the Chalet. Very private. We had great communication with our Cabin Manager. I will suggest that the driveway is very steep and if you walking restrictions this would be difficult. My wife and had no problem as once your parked you can walk comfortably to the door. I would recommend and I would stay again. This is pretty far up the mountains and very high. Took us 15 to 18 minutes to get to the main road. That is what we wanted was up and a little ways out away from the mainstream. Worked for us. Gene & Cherie

Hidden gem for relaxing.
Adrina was so sweet and so friendly. She is the best communicator and is lovely to book with. The hot tub had fresh water for us. The jacuzzi tub was heavenly. The bed was so comfy. I had a peaceful night of sleep. We spotted two bears and learned that’s where they lived. The view is pretty. The lights over the hot tub are perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back. Very cozy
We booked this property last minute. Adrina was very kind and helpful. The chalet is nestled in the mountains so the roads took a little getting used to but it’s really close to downtown gaitlinburg and the national park. The chalet itself was comfortable and met our expectations. Spacious, clean and cozy. We enjoyed our time here.
