“A beautiful place to stay, decorated tastefully and not overdone. My room was very attractive and although the mattress was firmer than I am used to I slept well. My view was over the valley but view from rooms facing this old village would also have been attractive. Efficient air conditioning greatly! Although small the garden was well maintained, as was the pool, and very quiet even at a busy weekend. Lovely sound of the water fall in the pool. Due to problems with my flights I arrived around……

“Wow… just wow. What an amazing and pleasantly surprising stay. Such a charming and welcoming place. Our family of four spent unfortunately only one night here during our vacation in the fascinating Dordogne, but absolutely love it. This isn’t one of those polished corporate hotels, this was a small piece of France! The host was very welcoming and pleasant. She spoke excellent English and made sure we never had to stumble with our very limited French. We had the top-floor room with an open attic……

“Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead.”

“des logeurs très sympa, on reviendra”

“A lovely family-run hotel that has a warm and joyful vibe. The owners, their little girl serving tables on a busy night, absolutely everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. As a vegetarian, the very kind owners prepared dishes suitable to my diet. The swimming pool was clean, refreshing and set in a serene setting. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. I recommend this hotel highly and will be returning every chance I get. A staff member even loaned me her special glasses to view the……

“Chambre propre emplacement calme”

“Super stay. Lovely, little campsite. Great facilities. Pool was fun. Snacks and drinks available on site. Friendly hist.”

“It took ten minutes for someone to appear at reception. The room was clean & comfortable with a balcony & view of the Lot. He attempt at old fashioned charm is to my mind naff ! The shower over the bath is so dated. Climbing in and out was difficult. However the restaurant was good with excellent service, good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast was good except the fresh fruit salad which was poor. Easy parking. Access to accommodation was supposedly controlled by electronic key. It was……
