Great location and place

Great sized house. 1 bedroom upstairs 2/3 more in the basement with 1 room with bunk beds and twins. Plenty of room for gathering and close to beach a few min walk

Lovely stay in Gearhart

we loved the location and the comfort/solidity of this house. winds were gusting up to 50 mph but we were cozy and relaxed in this home. great location for walking the dog behind the dunes. a great get-away for all of us.

Charming and clean home

This is such a lovely home. Everything was very clean. Many games for the kids and a lovely dinning room to spend time together. It’s a very short walk to the beach and a cute and friendly neighborhood.

Awesome house close to the beach!

We loved staying here, the living room/kitchen area is perfect for kids and hanging out with plenty of board games! We walked to the beach every day (5-10 min walk at the end of the road), there is also a nice walking trail around the corner if you wish to go for a walk but don't want to get sandy! There are also a few coffee shops a 5 min walk away! Overall this was a great house, we really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful!

This home is large and open. It is beautiful and has plenty of room for several people. They have beach chairs in the garage, a nice fenced backyard and it is a short and pretty walk to the beach. It is a very safe feeling neighborhood and the place was really clean when we got there. Absolutely recommend!

Gearhart Rental

The rental has a nice family layout. The laundry room is a nice to have for air drying ocean wet clothes. The location is terrific with a quick walk to the estuary and sandy area (great for young kids) or, just beyond, to the ocean beaches. Close walking or biking distance to coffee and bakery and a good restaurant. Kitchen is well supplied with cookware and dishes/utensils.

Nice house, well used

Great access to the beach, quiet neighborhood. As you enter the home you are on the lower level. You are greeted by a strong musty smell. There are 2 bedrooms on this level. As you go upstairs there is a really nice living area, dinning room and kitchen, bathroom and outdoor deck. The master bedroom is huge and would be better with a king size bed. We enjoyed our stay. But you are in for going up and down stairs.

Nice rental with potential

We really liked the layout of the house. It is spacious. The location to the beach and estuary is very good. The home has a well equipped kitchen and fun games and activities for children. We have rented in Gearhart several times in the past year. It is a very quiet and enjoyable community. Unfortunately, the rental is located next to very loud neighbors. We were kept awake until 1:30 AM with drunk people singing Karoki in a loud speaker system. During the day, a dog was continuously barking. The home could use a deep cleaning and maintenance . Stained carpets and several windows (bathrooms) do not open.

Nice House, No View

The house was basically great, pretty big, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to the estuary walk. The description said that there was a view of the estuary, which wasn't true. We go in the winter to storm watch, so this was a huge disappointment, even though we thought we'd only see the estuary. I like to birdwatch, so that was out. Just so you know in case you want to rent this house--the kitchen is very well equipped but has no pantry items like most homes do. The beds have thin quilts with no extra blankets. The wood burning fireplace has no tools, or firewood. There are DVDs, but no player. The Gearhart area has a big grassy area before you can walk to the beach, which is down a bit of a cliff. It was fun to walk from the estuary to the ocean side as there are a lot of little trails. But if you're looking to watch the waves, you'd better go somewhere else--you won't be beach side here. Still an interesting place to go for some relaxation!

Great spot, great house, great price!

We booked this on a whim when we were in a tight spot and I'm so glad it was available and we found it! It was large enough for our whole family (8 people) walking distance to a great beach, had everything we needed at the house, and was overall just a great stay! We only stayed for two nights but I can see us going back to this same house for a whole week. Really loved the whole vibe. 10/10
