The Space: This home is ideally located close to the CBD of Geelong, South Geelong train station, South Geelong Market, GMHBA Stadium, the Gull bus airport shuttle, plus great pubs, cafes and restaurants. Originally built in 1959 by a European artist, this unique property showcases a striking mid-century exterior. Inside, you’ll find high ceilings, split levels, and an array of original, quirky features that have been lovingly restored and preserved.
Sleep beneath the silver domed ceiling in the Spanish/Moroccan Room, or unwind in the spacious French Room, adorned with ornate architectural details and French doors that open onto a charming, provincial-style courtyard.
This home features: - 2 stunning and generously sized bedrooms each with king-size bed which can sleep up to 4 guests. - A private, Garden Room (sleeps 2) can also be provided for a $100/night fee, otherwise it will remain locked. Please see bedroom configuration below. - 2 bathrooms (One bedroom has an ensuite whilst the other close access to the shared bathroom). - Beautifully furnished living room and dining room with flat screen TV and room for all guests. Living and dining room has a split system air-conditioner for added comfort. - Light-filled kitchen and laundry space. Fully-equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm including stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, large fridge and more! - Gorgeous backyard with outdoor seating area. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon wine surrounded by carefully selected trees and plants.
Bedroom Configuration: 1 x master bedroom (king bed) with ensuite and walk-in robe. Sleeps 2 1 x bedroom (king bed). Sleeps 2 1 x outdoor Garden Room (king bed). Sleeps 2 ($100/night fee, otherwise it will remain locked).
Guest Access: Access to the Garden Room will only be given upon request. An additional fee of ($100/night applies). Guests will not have access to the garage.
The Neighborhood: City fringe and close to South Geelong, which has a village vibe with great cafes, pubs, train station, GMHBA stadium and a produce market every second Sunday at local primary school
