Dear Cara,Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at MainStay Suites Geismar - Gonzales.On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations with the quality of the mattress and linens in your room as well as with the issue with the noise and how that affected your stay here with us.In regards to the mattress in your room, I would like to sincerely apologize that it was not up to standard but I would like to inform you that the mattress choice is something we do not have control over, as the specific mattresses we offer are brand required through Choice, however, I will be speaking with the front desk about properly responding when faced with a complaint from a guest.In regards to the issue you experienced with the pull-out bed, I will also be speaking with my laundry attendant about making sure to more thoroughly check the pull-out mattresses when pulling linens from the room, as we obviously dropped the ball in this matter.Regarding the noise issue, unfortunately, we have little to no control regarding the noise levels in the hotel as this is completely dependent upon the other guests occupying the rooms. However, if a noise complaint is reported to us, or we hear an obvious noise disturbance, we do immediately address the issue by either calling up to the room or physically going up to the room in order to ask the neighboring guests to limit the noise. I am very sorry to hear that the noise levels in the hotel impacted your ability to get a good night's rest.Regarding the lady you mentioned who accused our staff of stealing, the police proved this to be completely baseless accusations as we were informed by the officer the next morning that the guest had recovered her missing jewelry from the previous hotel she had stayed at on her trip. Furthermore, she apologized for her behavior towards the staff following this. So while I do understand that hearing this was certainly discouraging, the claims made against my staff were false. My staff are very committed and hardworking, and it is saddening to hear that another persons assumptions and accusations affected their image in our other guests eyes. Hi Tameka, I am sorry that you were disappointed in the fact that we do not have adjoining rooms, however I can confirm that it does not state that we do on any of our websites. Location in the hotel is available upon availability and generally not something that we are willing to guarantee to any guest during the booking process.
