Top Gemmells Hotel Reviews

Reisen Hotel Hahndorf

8/10 Good

"Excellent location"

Discovery Parks - Hahndorf

10/10 Excellent

"From arrival check in staff amazing helpful location cleanliness and amenities all very good. Could not fault this property. Would stay again."

The Crafers Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely renovation, great size room. Nice touches in room (water, biscuits, chips). Super comfortable bed. Nice restaurant. Breakfast limited but nice and bit of a lottery when croissants turn up."

Serafino McLaren Vale

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely place with spacious rooms and newly upgraded amenities. Everything felt modern, comfortable, and well maintained"

Stables Boutique Motel

8/10 Good

"Location was great right in the heart of Hahndorf. Check in was quick and easy. Room had everything we needed and was nicely updated. Room was clean and good value for money. A bit more lighting at night would be beneficial as very dark when coming home. Can be a bit noisy as room backs onto a cafe’s kitchen and cars and delivery trucks park right outside your door from early in the morning delivering goods to the German Inn next door. Otherwise our stay was really great."

Hahndorf Farm Barn

10/10 Excellent

"The Farm Barn was the perfect getaway! I was in Adelaide on business and didn't want to stay in the city so I chose the Farm Barn. It was so nice to pet a little lamb after a busy stressful day at work. The animals are so well taken care of and they surround the cabins. The cabins have a great floorplan with a nice size bathroom and kitchen. The wide open space and massive windows made me feel like I was outside. I loved sitting on the bed watching the sunset over the hills. I loved that I could sit out on the deck on the table and chairs and enjoy the cows in the field. I also LOVED watching the other guests chldren play in the yard running about. Reminded me of myself when I was a child. The staff was so fun to talk to and were very informative about things going on during the evening on the property. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, milk and sugar. I hope to be back someday!"

Hahndorf Old Mill Motel

8/10 Good

"The upstairs loft rooms are great although security by the way of the door locks could be improved. A chain loop on the inside and make the door lock auto lock so you only need the key to enter but not required to lock as this caught me out once. So handle to open from the inside to leave but no key required to lock up. Other than that it was a good stay. :)"
