“Went to Keuka lake for the eclipse, the house was in a great location, close to Pen Yan and wineries. House had 3 bedrooms and 1 small bathroom. The annex house of which we had access to had another bathroom ( toilet and sink upstairs and a shower down stairs.) The house on the water had great decks to view the eclipse and the lake. Fire pit was great at night. House was clean and we were provided with lots of towels and 2 bottles of wine. This house would be best for a couple or a family with……

“This is a great house in a great area. Owner is very responsive and house is clean and right on the lake as they advertised. My families enjoy the kayaks provided with house. We hike and Watkins Glen trail is amazing! There are tons of wineries around here. We did several wine tasting and Bought some bottles! The most amazing thing is we not once but TWICE saw osprey plunge into water to catch a fish....WOW what a sight and we were just siting on the balcony! I highly recommend this place. The……

“Clouds mad the eclipse on April 8 less than hoped for, but still a wonder, but we had a great family weekend trip thanks to the lovely cottage hosted by Tim and Bonni. A beautiful clear sky Sunday let us enjoy the dock, and the views! We aren't fancy people, and the cottage was very homey, very clean, comfortable. We would love to come back sometime.”

“Had a great time on our girls weekend away for my birthday. Don’t let the drive down the driveway to the property scare you. I drive a truck and fit without an issue. Relaxing lake views. There is many stairs to get down to the lake for anyone with disabilities. That did not stop us from walking down and enjoying a drink on the dock. There is sulfur water just an FYI for people who may just not be use to it. Otherwise all three of us had a great time. Prime location for wine tours around Seneca……

“Had a great weekend getaway at the cozy cottage. Interior was remodeled with new appliances, hardwood floor with scratch proo polish and enough bedrooms to fit our 4 persin family and the dog. Friendly neighborhood about 10 mins from town. House is more inland than pictured bur still within walking distance.”

“The place was perfect for what we wanted for our vacation. The size worked well for the two of us, it was lake-side with very easy access to the lake, and it was not located right on the highway. The lake had crystal clear water and successful fishing. The sunsets were spectacular. We used the rowboat several times. The rowboat could be improved with properly functioning oarlocks and wooden oars. The rubber handles on the current oars required gloves to use them. We were very happy with our……

“This trip was planned as a girls getaway to surprise our daughter (who has three sons) coming up from Florida for a long weekend. We had such a fun time we decided to make it a yearly tradition. The house held all 8 of us comfortably, in a beautiful setting right on Seneca Lake, offering a beautiful display of Gods creation from either of the two decks. LOTS of laughter & love!”

“We had a great stay in Geneva. The Wine Down Bungalow is clean, spacious and perfect for a few nights away. We had the dock to ourselves for the solar eclipse. Great space to stare out onto the lake. Our first morning, the shower water did not get hot. The owners were quick to respond and it was fixed immediately. Very responsive and easy to deal with. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute place to stay about a ten minute drive away from the center of Geneva.”
