Stunning!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a lovely home, nicely appointed and well maintained. Our one disappointment is that the 4th bedroom is actually in the garage. The dehumidifier was not running when we arrived, so the room smelled musty, so much so that no one in our party would sleep in it; two guests opted to rather sleep on the sofa. Maintenance came to assess the situation, but the air quality did not improve during the duration of our stay. The room only has one small window, higher than eye level. I would recommend this property for parties of no more than 8 guests.

Great - with caveats!

Overall this is a great property - had everything we needed, a very well stocked kitchen and a beautiful view from the back porch! However, the listing is inaccurate / incomplete. The “fourth” bedroom is not a true bedroom - this room is a basement/garage apartment completely separate from the rest of the home, which was very disappointing to find out on arrival. Further, a gate pass must be purchased ($22) for each car entering Debordieu per new policy beginning April 1 2024 - this is understandable, however it was not included in the listing and we were not informed until the week of our stay that we would need to register and purchase these passes. If adding more than one pass, TideLife Rentals must add additional cars manually, which can only be done during business hours - be aware if planning to arrive after hours!

The house exterior is in dire need of upkeep. Mold, and paint chipping and dry rotting is really everywhere. The outside of the house really needs a good power wash and the stairs leading up to the house needs sanding/painting.For the safety of upcoming guests, the steps off the sunroom onto the back deck should be marked. They are hard to see as the decking blends into the steps. We had a guest actually fall. Only one side of the garage can be used and only one car will fit on that side because of the parked golf cart.This made parking multiple cars a problem. Interior was great! Kitchen utensils could use a refresh as we couldn't find enough cooking satchels etc. Everything else was great
