Stay and enjoy this wonderful home inspired by Fixer Upper. We're 10 miles southwest of Gettysburg and minutes from Liberty Mountain Resort. You can hit the slopes, play a round of golf, enjoy the local wineries or tour the historical sites surrounding Gettysburg. On the weekends, enjoy the best pit beef only a mile down the road. If you decide to book with us, it would be our pleasure to host you!

Our property is the second story of a raised rancher in a quiet, residential neighborhood. With trees outside every window and a tree growing through the deck, you'll feel like you're staying in a treehouse! It's not uncommon to catch a glimpse of deer in the woods or hear birds chirping in the evening.

Simply decorated with a Scandinavian eye, we designed the house to be a clean, vibrant space in which you can rest, entertain, and enjoy the beauty of southern PA. The house is fully furnished, and includes special amenities like a wood fireplace, piano, and propane and charcoal grills.

The kitchen is stocked with an electric range/oven combo, fridge, dishwater, microwave, and coffee maker. The living room is the perfect space for conversation or games with two couches, a fireplace, and a view of the woods. Our favorite room, the sun room, boasts large windows on three walls and a skylight, as well as a large TV and the most comfortable sofa for late-night movies.

There are three bedrooms and two baths. The master has a queen-sized bed and fully stocked bathroom, including a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, reading chair, and a view of the mountains. The third bedroom sleeps four, with one double bed and a set of custom-built bunkbeds. The hall bathroom has a tub/shower, a washer and dryer unit, and all bathroom essentials. We provide all linens and towels.

We had a very quick stay, but it was nice! Eileen was fast to respond to any questions, even on her personal cell phone as the messaging through Vrbo was not working for me. The inside of the home was nicely updated and there was plenty of room for us to stay comfortably.

Stunning Getaway and Exceptional Host

The property is absolutely stunning with a Scandinavian design and every comfort you could want. Eileen is one of the best hosts we have had the pleasure to rent from and will visit again. Our stay was schedule to coincide with a day of skiing at Liberty which is very close by. We made dinner in the well appointed kitchen and enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the large sunroom. Each area was beautiful and cozy with plants, blankets, and pillows. We enjoyed the quiet, tranquil property. We plan to return in the future. Do not hesitate to book!

Wonderful getaway!

We stayed for two nights while introducing our kids to skiing at nearby Liberty resort. We were fortunate to get 6inches of beautiful snow while we were there, and enjoyed tremendously watching it blanket the trees around us Eileen was very helpful and ensured we had snow shovels and salt! Definitely will be back!

Stayed for a wedding at Zigbone Farm

Needed a place close to Zigbone Farm and this little cutie fit the bill! The outside needed some repair but the inside was just perfect! Fit 7-8 people comfortably!

Lovely home 5 minutes from Liberty Mountain

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home -- great design details, thoughtful touches from Eileen (my kids loved the donuts!), and a perfect location if you plan on spending some time at Liberty Mountain. Not only is this home 5 minutes from Liberty, but it's a great jump off point for exploring other destinations nearby -- like Gettysburg (20 minute drive) or Strawberry Hill for some hiking (10 minute drive).

This property was quiet and serene. Other properties around but you still seemed remote. Eileen went the extra mile for us when an emergency came up and we very much appreciated it. Bathrooms were so great makes me want to re-do mine the same way.

Tree house full of comforts

We had a great time at Eileen's place for the weekend. Our party had 6 adults and 1 child. We were all comfortable. The check in process was easy and the house was clean and ready to receive us. Loved the way the house is decorated. Every detail is well-appointed. You really feel like you are in a tree house, with all the beautiful trees around the house and porch. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Just a short drive to town. Eileen communicated to us and checked in to make sure all was well. Definitely will consider this place when we return to Gettysburg!

Clean, well-equipped, comfortable living space for 6 adults and two toddlers. The beds were extra cozy. We had a wedding nearby, and staying here with the family was much better than renting hotel rooms.

The BEST.

What a fantastic place! Literally it is decorated like a beautiful little IKEA advertisement - we all said we’d like to redecorate our homes to be just like it! The beds were SO comfy (even the bunk beds!), the kitchen was perfect for cooking (and dancing 💃) and the whole feel of the place was just so relaxing. We came for a girls weekend and honestly it was so perfect for the five of us. Cannot wait to come back again!! Thank you Eileen for sharing this lovely space!

A hidden gem

Eileen was extremely responsive. The house looks like it has been recently renovated and was done so in very nice fashion. Everything was clean and new. If we end up back in the area, we certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Comfy, Quiet & Cozy with a Beautiful View

This was the perfect get away, just minutes outside of town. Everything was easy to get to. This place is well kept, nicely decorated and very homey feeling. I was here with 3 girlfriends for a weekend get away with the bride to be.......and it was perfect!! I will be back with my family. AND Eileen (the property owner) was so very helpful and nice, and she even left us Donuts!!!
