Nice place to stay, great location and great price. Our room was comfortable and the host was very friendly. The only issue was that the wifi and TV did not work during our stay.

Great location!!!! Clean, decent room but super noisy and not very bright. We got moved from original, bright room with a patio door to a room with small windows and not as nice but was clean and did the job. The common outside terrace and kitchen area were very cool and the house itself is AMAZING!!!

authentiek herenhuis in centrum Gent.

Locatie is prima. Oud herenhuis met steile trappen. Lastig als je zware koffer hebt om die omhoog te sjouwen. Er is geen receptie, je krijgt de sleutel van de voordeur mee. Gehorig. Schoon en goede bedden. Badkamer ok. Mogelijkheid om koffie en/of thee te zetten. Prijs is hoog voor de kwaliteit,

Een simpele B&B,we lagen op het derde verdiep. Dus veel trappen. Verouderd,konden geen venster open zetten. Het ontbijt was ook heel simpel,afgebakken broodjes,croissant,kaas,hesp,salami,confituur en een potje yoghurt. Ik vind de prijs kwaliteit echt niet ok,echt jammer

The operator was hard to contact. The front door wide open when we arrived and often left like this. The only access is up 3 flights of stairs. You apparently have to ask about the free breakfast although you can make coffee using the machine whenever you like but not if it is our of water. The location is great within the old town area.

お洒落！

中心地のお洒落なショップが並ぶ通りにありとても便利。最上階のテラス付きの素敵なお部屋でした。洗面台や家具もお洒落感いっぱいで、コーヒー、紅茶もいつでも飲めて快適。ただ冷蔵庫の中、リモコンの手あか、共用スペースに置いてあるカップなど細かいところが、とても汚かったのが残念です。

Wir haben 2 Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht;1 Zimmer hatte ein Fenster zur "allgemeinen "Terrasse ,bei dem anderen war alles mit Plane verklebt, wegen Baumaßnahmen konnte weder gelüftet noch der Balkon genutzt werden.Bei vollem Preis hätte ich wenigstens eine Entschuldigung erwartet. Betten machen ? na ja es war ja Ostern.Kühlschrank schon mal einschalten? zu viel erwartet ? Frische Tassen? Selber spülen geht doch auch.

In het mooie centrum en op minimale loopafstand van alle hoogtepunten van Gent. Onverwachts waren we al eerder bij het b&b. Dit was geen probleem. We werden vriendelijk geholpen en kregen een boekje met uitleg wat waar was. Lekker bed en gezellige kamer.

De communicatie was ondermaats: Maar dat had mogelijks ook met de communicatie van Expedia en la ducale te maken. Het had te maken met de datum van de boeking. We hebben verschillende keren naar la ducale trachten te bellen: maar telefoonnummer niet in gebruik, een telefoonnummer van iemand die blijkbaar al 2 jaar niet meer in la Ducale was geweest. Blijkbaar stond dat nummer wel nog op de website van Expedia. Maar deze persoon wist ook te vertellen dat de telefoon van de persoon die la Ducale in het water gevallen was. Er werd ook gevraagd naar onze beroepsactiviteit: want blijkbaar waren we te dom om te begrijpen wat mevrouw vroeg. Maar het was eigenlijk om te horen dat bij hoog opgeleide personen enkel problemen waren. Het gaf een zeer negatief geladen spanning.

Een kleine ramp. zo een kamer zouden ze niet mogen verhuren.Sprei was tamelijk vuil,veel vlekken,lakens zeer oud,veel oplapwerk aan.Andere kamer gezien en die zag er veel beter uit. Oja,onze ipad is groter dan die tv die er hangt. Kasten waren ook zo goed als kapot.Enig positief woord is de ligging,die was top!Van ontbijt is er zelfs niet gesproken geweest.

Après un accueil décevant et en anglais puis les 3 étages d'escalier, c'est au tour du paiement (par carte bleu) dès le pied posé dans la chambre. Cette chambre n'est sur aucunes des photos de l'établissement. Et on comprend pourquoi. Moche, basse de plafond, mal aménagé, la douche cassé et bloquer sur eau bouillante. Toilettes minuscules avec la lumière automatique qui s'allume toute seule en pleine nuit. Les murs en carton où ont entend tous les voisins et les bruit de la rue. (réveillé à 6h du matin par le voisin de la chambre d'à côté qui urinais.) Et un grands nombre de petits détails désagréables qu'il serai trop long à énumérer. Il n'y a rien pour rattraper cette chambre si ce n'est peut être son emplacement. Mais j'aurai préféré mieux plus loin.

Excellent

Overall it was a great experience. Check in wasn't the easiest of all time as it has to happen at 4pm sharp or you have to set an appointment, but the lady was so nice, helpful, and really flexible. And the location of the B&B couldn't have been better as all my meetings were nearby.

En del brister i förhållande till bokningsbekräftelsen, t.ex. ingen balkong med utsikt mot trädgården, kylskapet först andra dagen, inget skrivbord, inget gratis vatten på flaska, så vistelsen absolut inte värd 90 euro per natt. Före året bodde jag på liknande b&b i Milano för 50 euro per natt, men med bättre service.
