“The staff are wonderful, both kind and efficient. The reception were helpful and made one feel so welcome on arrival. Getting there at night can be tricky as google maps is wrong while there are few signposts showing the way. The setting is fantastic and what a tranquil and relaxing place! Great place to see Nyungwe forest from.”

“My experience was slightly affected by the fact that I stayed in low season, and at a time when there was political instability along the border with DRC nearby. Hence I was the only guest for most of my time at the hotel which generated a slightly odd feeling. However, the suite I was allocated to was absolutely beautiful, incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. “Etablissement avec très grandes chambres et des lits immenses avec moustiquaires. Le restaurant est également de qualité, avec des petits-déjeuners copieux. Le personnel est disponible et professionnel. La vue est superbe. Le seul point noir : le bruit, vu que l'hôtel est situé à proximité de la route. Il faut très difficile de trouver le sommeil à cause des camions qui circulaient à proximité.”

“Die Zimmer/Häuser sind riesig, auch Familien haben mehr als genug Platz. Highlight ist die Außendusche, vor allem und gerade auch bei schlechterem Wetter. Der Blick über den See, herrlich. Toll fanden wir auch, dass man das Essen an einer langen Tafel einnimmt und so Menschen aus aller Welt kennenlernt. “The staff at this property were extremely nice and friendly. The journey from Kigali however was stressful. I recommend renting a jeep or a car with high tires as the roads leading to the accommodation are bad. ”

“The views are great However Two of the three rooms had stuffed drains in the bathrooms that caused flooding on the floor. The staff left the key for one of rooms that they had to rearrange to seperate beds upon arrival locked in another room causing the teens to have to wait along time To get into their room. The service for towels and room arrangements was slow And the bathrooms need maintenance and updates ”
