“Really friendly staff that were more than happy to help with any information about the island and also organised a taxi for us to take away from having to haggle over prices etc. The free bikes was really handy to get around the island and the pool was amazing to come back to in the evening. The breakfast was yum and the rooms were always cleaned straight after we left so we didn’t get bothered if we wanted to come back and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Will definitely stay here again when……

“Lovely little rustic property with a private pool which was just a delight on a hot day. All clean and tidy and serviced every day if you wanted. The team were exceptional - super friendly and nothing was too much trouble, be it advice on where to go, or how much things should cost for a transfer. Would recommend.”

“Nice private villas in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the north and west side of the island with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Staff here very friendly and helpulful. Earplugs a requirment (provided at the villa) for the very early morning call to prayer from the Mosque. I am sure this will aplly to any accomodation on the island. All in all the villas and island were a great place to stay and would have gladly done more time here. ”

“Great location: the best snorkeling point, near restaurants and everything. But the beach is dirty with leaves and garbage, it 's not comfortable to swim in to. We stayed five nights. It's fresh water shower in weekdays but turn into salt water at weeken. So choose Waterfront if you care about the salt water shower. Nice hotel and nice friendly workers”

“Abbiamo soggiornato 11 notti in questo meraviglioso resort dove regna la pace e la tranquillità. Tutto ben curato dal verde agli spazi aperti e la piscina. Si trova a 10 minuti a piedi dal porto ed è lato alba. Grazie a tutto lo staff in particolare a Effendi che ci è venuto incontro cambiandoci la stanza standard con una garden. Stanza ampia e bagno aperto stile maldiviano. La colazione è a buffet con frutta fresca , pancake, waffle, banana plum-cake, brioche, caffè o tè. Tutto molto buono.……

“This hostel was really nice, from the reception to the room to the breakfast , all very nice. I stayed for 5 nights , the first couple nights I stayed in the deluxe room and the last 3 in a standard double. I had planned on hotel hopping around the island but Gili Buana was so relaxed I was happy to stay put. As A solo traveler I felt very welcome. Aisje the manager was an amazing hostess, she invited me for sunset and dinner a couple nights which was lovely. I highly recommend this hostel. ”

“Petit bungalow très simple où on se sent directement en vacances sur une île. Robinson Crusoé avec Clim, frigo, eau chaude, wifi, une petite terrasse, et le p'tit dej compris. La piscine est très agréable. Les draps sont propres, l'établissement entretenu. Il est situé du côté authentique de Gili air mais près de bars, restaurants et des organisateurs de snorkeling. Le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable.”

“The location is good ,,if take the horse ride ,just need to take 5mins from the pier ...n the design n the decorations of the room is cozy ,,,the staff are hard working n friendly with their big smile !the only thing is there is no hairdryer in the room ,,u need to ask the reception to get it for u ,,and the swimming pool is small and only for kids”
