Hotel Halsingland
8/10 Good
"It's a room in an old building, not sound proof, but good enough. Dogs and cats allowed for a fee. Room is spacious but basic. No microwave or coffeemaker. There was a mini fridge. Also not handicap accessible, despite 2 phone calls that I am using a wheelchair, and aknowledgement of the person at check in, we still got a room where we had to either traverse the grass and then 6 steps up, or do 14 steps in total. This really upset me, as I called 2 times about my needs. Not very handicap customer friendly, but beautiful setting. Room seemed clean, but our small dog went under the bed and came out all dusty. Maybe clean under the bed aswell? Nice bed and bedding."

"This was such a welcome stay in Haines. Everything so clean, the staff was so helpful, even let us check in an hour early as we’ve had a very long travel day that had started at four in the morning, spotlessly clean, laundry facilities, and even a laundry basket in our room to use. The kitchenette was well stocked.. Very comfortable mattresses, high-quality linens, and centrally located in Haines to walk around. Would definitely stay here again."

"My experience at the hotel was wonderful. The service was very good, and the quality of everything was excellent. Our room was nice, beautiful, and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The breakfast was also great and enjoyable. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and were happy with our experience. Thank you to the staff for providing such great service!"

"No warm water in the evening so had to go to bed dirty then shower early in the morning We were told people take too long of showers and the water heater couldn’t handle it."

"It was in a good location and appeared exactly as advertised.We were very pleased with how clean it was. Parking was very convenient. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a placeto stay in Gustavus."

"This little cottage was exactly what I needed after a long trip. The beds were super comfy and it had everything one would need and a beautiful view of the mountains and water to boot!"
Sunny Suite at the Bakery 2

"This property was just as described and a pleasure to stay at even with the restaurant right next door. There were a few water pressure problems when there was consumption in other areas of the building but minor. The TV in our suite did not have the proper control so we had no volume control. Miki changed out the Roku with a Fire stick and luckily we had experience operating it. The only other issue we had was with the toaster which we had to hold down full time until the toast was done. All in all all a great place to stay."

"Beautiful house in a lovely setting off a quiet dirt road within walking distance of a grocery store, the village “center” , and a stream for fishing. Only about 15 minutes by car from GBNP..Master bedroom is wonderful with great, large, comfy bed. Setting is quiet. Kitchen is well equipped."

"Gustavas is so beautiful. And this little cabin is amazing. The Salmon river is just feet away from the back door. I have paid twice this price and gotten less. 5 stars"
