First off, it should be labeled as false advertising because the pool, hotel and rooms look nothing like the pictures on their website or Expedia’s. 「Breakfast was good lots of a variety to chose from」

「Motel was under renovation, so a bit messy. There is an ice machine, but did not use any of the amenities. Hotel seems to good value for what we paid.」

「Room was freezing and in need of a simple chair. There were pleny downstairs but not in the room. You need a chair to dress and put shoes on. Also when you finish riding you don’t want to sit on the bed. Also kitchen needed a drying rack paper towels or dish cloths. Beds were comfortable and location great. View of falls wonderful. 「Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows.
