“Serenity has pretty much everything you need and appears as advertised. If you're looking for a quiet spot in this area, it's one I'd recommend, especially if you need pet friendly. Everything was clean upon our arrival and we enjoyed our stay.”

“Clean, cozy spot to get away. Hosts are responsive and helpful. I would definitely take their suggestion #14 on their welcome letter to the hiking trail and all the food suggestions are on par (with many walkable from cottage). This may turn into a yearly destination for us.”

“The home is very tastefully decorated, extremely clean and the setting was idyllic. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our weekend. The layout of the house was perfect. The covered deck was like an additional living room for us. Be sure to bring water shoes for the lake. It's nice and shallow at the house but the rocks are plentiful and slippery.”

“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect fit for us. We liked the wooded lot and quiet location, yet it allowed easy access to all of the things we wanted to do. We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes at multiple locations to hike, beachcomb, and enjoy the Fall colors. Frankfurt and Empire were not far away. The cottage had all of our needs covered. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The property description is accurate and we highly recommend it.”

“We stayed as a group for wine tasting in Traverse City area. The location was perfect. The cottage is right on beautiful Duck Lake. We were able to enjoy mornings sipping hot coffee, watching the majestic sunrise over the lake from the cozy sunroom. We spent some time on the pontoon boat exploring the lake and watching the many loons. The cottage had ample sleeping areas, everyone had their own room and bed, the beds were SO comfortable. We had plenty of room to cook meals and the kitchen was……

“We had a great stay. Check in/out was easy and the house was clean and tidy. Even though it was 15 degrees outside, there is a breakfast nook in the kitchen with a full view of the bay, and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the view. One thing to note is that the bed was quite stiff, which we didn't like.”

“finally visited Traverse City for the first time, stayed here and enjoyed our time. It was only about 20 to 25 minutes away from downtown Traverse City. It was also a short drive to sleeping Bear dunes national Park, which was fun. Troy was very responsive to texts and emails and definitely went out of his way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and met our expectations. there was even a nice gift package with Thanksgiving cooking supplies waiting for us when we got there. Would recommend……
