"Room was clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is at the opposite end of downtown, but it is only a 15 walk. There are a lot of dining options close to the hotel, which we used the two nights we stayed. The town itself is nice and mix of private retail downtown and the big brands in 2/3 different locations, which are close to the hotel. Stouffville is also, as it happens, very close to Shitt’s Creek.."

"The house is very pretty and spacious, and we were able to enjoy our stay overall. However, there were some downsides.There was no oven, which was disappointing since we booked three nights and planned to cook. The kitchen was very minimally stocked no dish soap and almost nothing in the pantry so it made cooking difficult. The location is also quite remote, with limited food options nearby, and many places wouldn’t deliver to the area.The host was very strict about cleaning. We cleaned thoroughly and left the garbage at the curb as instructed, but were later asked to return and remove it, which was frustrating.Overall, it’s a nice house, but the lack of kitchen essentials, remote location, and strict checkout process were drawbacks."

"I had about 7 itchy red welts on both of my left and right arms after the sleepover. I suspect that there’s a bed bug infestation. "

"Extremely disappointed. Stayed here back in January and had a great experience. However, this time when I arrived around 10:30pm the door was locked. Knocked but no answer. Messaged but no answer. Phoned several times but no answer. I knew they had children so was reluctant to ring the doorbell to the main house but finally did, twice. No answer. Ended up having to find a hotel room kind of nearby. The next morning the host apologized and mentioned something about calendars not syncing. He refunded about half of what the hotel room cost me. When I messaged twice asking to cover the full amount of the hotel (that I never should have had to find) I was ignored."
