Temperature was quite easy to adjust in the condo. Whether we needed the heat on in the AM from the cool night or to turn the AC on in the afternoon from warmth if the day it was quick and easy.

Fantastic! The two chairs overlooking the mountain view were amazing. Two beds on main floor and one on 2nd floor gave nice separation for multiple families. The kitchen was smaller (felt galley-like) but very functionable. Even a large monitor if you're working remote to hook up to (first time I've seen this in a rental!). If you have kids/toddlers - the amount of TOYS they provide is the true highlight. Endless entertainment for the kiddos.

Great Trip

This property is everything that is advertised. It was very clean and very comfortable. Read the rules on the refrigerator it can be very helpful in taking a hot shower. I didn’t so my shower was a little chilly. The rules will instruct you where the circuit breaker is for the hot water heater.

Great Views

The place was great! The views stunning! Location was not far from all the amenities of North Conway, and minutes from Storyland. The teens loved the pool table! Mom loved having her coffee overlooking Mt. Washington’s snow capped peak! Lots of toys and games for the bigs and littles. Only critique is for better numbers for finding the location and finding how to operate the lights was a bit confusing, but the place was great!!

Not what it seems

We unfortunately had issues with this place from the start. We tried to check in at 4 pm using the instructions sent to us and the code would not open the lock. We reached out to the contact we had from Vacasa and they tried to help but also could not figure out a way to get us in. After about 2 hours (with 3 kids sitting in the car with all our stuff), someone was finally able to get the code for the lockbox that had a backup key. You would think this would be the end but the lock itself was broken so even using the key wasn’t easy. Finally we were able to maneuver our way in. Then after a day of skiing all we wanted to do is shower and relax but there was no hot or running water. Those both had to be turned on but the instructions had not been sent to us prior. I did see instructions for them in the checkout email after we left but it would have been much more helpful to receive them before. Because of that we didn’t get hot, running water until day 2. There was broken glass in the dishwasher so we couldn’t use it. Some plates and silverware and pots and pans were dirty. We were willing to pay more to stay in a clean, comfortable home with our family and we did not get what we paid for. We ended up checking out a day early as we could not spend another night in this place. It has great potential, it’s in a great location so maybe with some more attention and care to the maintenance of it, it can be improved. I never leave bad reviews but this is the truth of our experience.

Beautiful Getaway

Our group loved this condo! It was exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable. The view was stellar. The beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful condo in mountains

The condo was very clean comfortable and well equiped with the exception of the kitchen pots and pans which should be discarded. They are well used to the point that others have commented on this so we chose to bring our own from our home.

July Stay at White Mountain Chalet

First let me say most of out week stay was during a heat wave with dew points in the mid 70s which is oppressive. We didn't notice when booking the chalet it didn't have air conditioning, which is our fault. Non-the-less, temperatures inside the chalet reached 86 degrees making it difficult to sleep no matter how many fans. The Bad: *No air conditioning *With the exception of an enamel cast iron stock pot, pots and pans were terrible. They looked like they were old teflon pots and pans picked up at a yard sale with the teflon chipped and peeling off. *Old dirty plastic kids stuff all over the house. Under the stairs, behind and in the bar, in the closets, in the living room, on the deck, everywhere. * Overall, cooking, cleaning and utility closet items were old, worn-out or broken, including the vacuum. The Good: Despite all of the above, Glen is a beautiful area to stay and the family had a good time. The chalet has a view of Mt Washington with a relatively comfortable deck for eating and viewing. The beds were comfortable and the pool table was a fun bonus to have. From the deck, we saw deer and a mama bear with her three cubs. The chalet is a good central location to many swimming holes, hiking trails and shopping in North Conway. I'd like to give the White Mountain Chalet a better rating because overall all we had a great vacation, but I'm compelled to stick with the rating simply because of the quality of the basic items in the chalet listed in the section above.

Great for a Storyland visit

This property was perfect for young children with a crib, small highchair and plentiful books and games for the kids. Just a few minutes drive from Storyland allowed us to come back for a nap and to get out of the unseasonable heat for a couple of hours and then return to the park. Beautiful views and a spacious living/dining area. Restaurants within 10 minutes for other dining options. Only challenge was no ac during a heatwave but there were fans which was helpful. Our toddler loved the songs of the frogs from the deck in the early morning.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Traveling from Florida, we were looking for the quintessential winter mountain experience. This condo delivered. Having morning coffee in the reading nook, next to the fireplace, overlooking the snow covered mountains was exactly what I needed. It was also perfectly situated close to ski mountains, shopping and dining. The condo was perfectly children ready stocked with children's books, toys and gate for the stairs. If you are wondering if this place is worth it, the answer is yes.

Magical Christmas Mountain

We had a wonderful week at Christmas Mountain! The condo was clean and cozy with beautiful views. It’s in a great location - close to everything. It was so convenient that the condo was very “kid friendly” with toys, games, baby crib and high chair all provided. We will definitely be back!

Uncleanliness

When I first arrived at the property upon check in, I saw a note that was left which stated the sheets were not cleaned because they were previously dirty. That gave us such an uneasy and disgusted feeling. It made us question the overall cleanliness of the home and if any cleaning had been done at all. We had to strip all of the sheets in the home and wash them ourselves.

Great property

We loved the property and our stay there. Very quiet, beautiful view, comfortable beds. Amenities were sufficient - kids loved toys and books, grown-ups enjoyed the pool table. Location is good too, close to everything. We know the area very well so it's just as good as expected. The only thing I would suggest the owner to change, is to add GPS coordinates to the check-in instructions. Neither Google map nor Apple Map was able to bring us to the right location using the given address. Although the neighborhood is nice, it is terribly numbered. We arrived after sunset in a raining night, it took us about 40 mins to locate the property. The management company was completely unhelpful and we cannot contact the owner directly. It's something easily fixable.

Perfect Chalet for basecamp for hiking Mt Washington

The chalet was clean and location was great fir us. The view is spectacular. There is no AC but many windows create a lovely breeze so we did fine without AC. Really great communication with host agency. Close drive to North Conway for groceries and shops.

Worked well for us

Property was clean. Kitchen and cooking equipment is a bit dated but did the job for us. We were up in the Whites for some day hiking and bike riding the location worked out very well, super nice to come back to a nice place after a long day out. Nice view from living room and quiet community. All in all nice stay and would not hesitate to come back

Perfect retreat

Beautiful setting, great accommodation. All the facilities a family could wish for. Plenty of scenic tours available in the car and wonderful quiet roads. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
