“Ms. Josephine at the front desk on Friday evening was excellent... She explained everything that was offered in the hotel and around the area... We are from the area, so we were familiar, but she still took the time... She was very helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay, even though we were there for a family funeral... “The room was spacious, and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Plenty of storage too. An easy walk to the downtown pedestrian mall which is most pleasant with great shopping and dining options. We were able to get an early check in , and the desk person was able to assign rooms in close proximity to the friends we were meeting from out of state. A great experience! Easy to find too. We liked that the parking was in an on site lot right outside the front entrance. ”

“This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property.
