"We had a wonderful stay at the Meadmore cottage on Hartwell Lake. The property is beautiful. The cottage is so clean and decorated nicely. We had six adults and my thrèe year old granddaughter. The cottage is safe for children and has three full baths. The owner, Doug is so nice and very accommodating. We could only stay two nights due to prior scheduling. We will definitely return to the same cottage. I recommend leaving a down payment as early as possible. This cottage already has most of the summer booked! I highly recommend this cottage. I found it on VRBO. On a scale of 1-10, I give it 100! Yup 100!!!! Thank you Doug for making our mini vacation fabulous 👌 😎"

"The home and its location were exceptional. The climate controls worked perfectly and the kitchen was fully stocked. The only issue we had was with a separate ice maker that did not seem to function fully, but there was additional ice provided in the freezer that more than made up for that. "

The only negative was the shock of all the additional charges when we booked. The per night price stated all fees included and that was false. "
