"Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast isn’t free, but the quality of the food I purchased was actually really good. Check in and out was very easy. Bed was comfortable and clean. My only complain is the slow flushing toilets. "

The hotel lobby which serves as a dining area was packed on the holiday. Very clean, comfortable rooms; locally sourced toiletries and plenty of hot water. Five stars across the board and we look forward to our next stay. "

"This was a great place to stay for our visit to Durham and a Duke basketball game. Yolanda was a great host with almost immediate responses to any questions we had. There were a lot of excellent dining and cocktail options within a short drive or uber ride. The covered parking was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel is our favorite pet-friendly hotel in downtown Durham. During this last visit, I had inadvertently double booked myself a room directly with the hotel and on Expedia. The check-in host was so kind to cancel the room booked directly with the hotel without penalties. I certainly was not expecting that and figured I'd be paying for two rooms due to my oversight. Thank you 21c hotel. That made my day, and I will certainly return. "

"We were very impressed with how thoughtfully appointed this house was with everything we needed. Shampoo and conditioner, nice towels, makeup removal cloth, q-tips, cotton balls, multiple boxes of Kleenex, a full sized monitor to plug our laptop into. Great location 5 to 10 minutes to downtown Durham and Duke University. Quiet neighborhood that is good for dog walking."
