“We stayed for 10 days and absolutely loved this property. It was amazing for anyone with dogs, as the huge deck is completely gated and our pups could play while we relaxed with no worries. They just loved romping around on our hikes, too! The beds were comfortable, and the great room had plenty of seating where we could sit and socialize. The Internet was spotty at times, so don't count on catching up with work--but who wants to...with TWO waterfalls, plenty of hiking, and even MORELS……

“The cabin was located well above a fast-flowing creek, and the sound was very soothing. The kitchen is well-appointed, with nice appliances and cookware. The hot tub on the back deck was a real treat. We are looking forward to staying here again this fall.”

“Me and my dogs really enjoyed our Little House getaway. While I do wish the water in the pond had been higher, that’s not anything controllable, and the frog chorus while we sat in the swing and watched the birds made up for it. You can tell a lot of love went into this place and I would definitely stay here again!”

“Cabin is contemporary, safe, and has a fantastic view. Internet is minimal but the owner made that clear in the listing. Verizon gets great reception (T-Mobile not so much) there so maybe get a hotspot if necessary (unlimited for $50/mo). The only risk seems to be the road if there is inclement weather. We were able to navigate it fine because we were careful (and it was dry) but there is a trench in the road (diagonally across) that could certainly cause problems. The rest of the road has……

“Cute comfy and cozy”

“Charming mountain house with a wrap around deck and screened porch. Hot tub was great and kitchen details - like pot holders and corkscrew/bottle opener - appreciated very much. Enjoyable just sitting on the deck and enjoying the nature and peace. Would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get up and down Plott Balsam Road (though we did manage with a 2wd sedan). Very close to Soco Falls and Blue Ridge Parkway. A lovely secluded getaway that you won't want to leave. ”
