“This small cabin at Eagle Lodge was perfect for two people. The cabin was clean, up to date and well supplied. It's a beautiful location on the East fork of the Chippewa River. Eagles, geese and even a few fish. Lots of privacy as the other cabins are a nice distance away. Great sunsets!”

“The loons nest was just what we were looking for. It had easy access to the atv/utv trails and was right on the water to enjoy kayaking and the kids could swim. The cabin itself is somewhat dated but it was just what we needed, nothing fancy. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Imagine a real log cabin from th early 1900s, but with 21st century electronics and comfort, on the shore of a lake footsteps away, with a dock, kayaks, and a hottub next to a covered patio, and outdoor lighting strung through the trees. No need to imagine. It is here. We felt like we were the only ones on the lake. No other homes or docks were visible, other than the evidenced of life across the water. My only regret is that we eventually had to leave. We definitely will be back. Eric and Linda……

“Beautiful and comfortable cabin in a classic location on the East Fork of the Chippewa River provided a very relaxing yet stimulating time for me. I got the perfect campfire going despite showery weather. There were spectacular Fall colors visible everywhere with full color just beginning. This is a classic spot on the river for fishing with excellent access to a large area of shoreline. All in all I had a most enjoyable time away from it all.”

“With a gorgeous view on one of the Northwood's most beautiful chain of lakes. I've never stayed in a cottage where every guest need has been so well provided for--beds, kitchen, boats, videos, games. While modern in design it was also warm, cozy, and appropriate to a woods and lake setting. Immaculately cared for and clean as well.”

“We loved the cabin: clean, new comfy furniture, lots of storage, a/c worked great, loved the woods, close to town! We were a bit disappointed that you cannot see the lake from the cabin and that there was another property and a road in between the cabin & the lake. The separate lakefront portion of their land was great, loved the picnic table and shed down there! Not really swimmable from the short dock but there were a couple of sand bars in the lake that we took the boat to and swam off of!……

“Absolutely loved the cabin! Host was very informative and gave great instructions and directions. Close because it was dog friendly, but we didn’t notice any signs of previous dogs in there. Beautiful, secluded setting. If you are dependent on internet, not the place for you but if you want to get away from it all, it is perfect! Plan on going back again and making it an annual girls getaway!”

“The property, though older, has been well maintained and was spotless. There was plenty of space, and the view out the huge picture window over the water was spectacular. Communication with the host was great, and Michelle was so kind, especially when we couldn't get the door opened the first time. Other than coffee and wine, kitchen amenities are limited, but we had everything we needed to make simple meals. I have never seen so many bath amenities in my life. I enjoyed two soaks in the tub.
