We can’t say enough about our stay with Joanie and Petunia! Joanie is an amazing host! She doted on us like we were family. She went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies. She entertained us with stories from her life’s journey. She was just a text away if we needed anything. Her home is beautiful! We can’t wait to stay there again! Thank you Joanie for a great few day getaway! See you soon!

This bed and breakfast exceeded every expectation! The location was perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The home itself is a beautiful historic property full of character and charm. Every detail was thoughtfully maintained, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing — fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The hospitality was outstanding; the host made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, history, and true hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Extremely friendly and conscientious host, Joan. Beautiful home; location couldn’t be better. Easy parking. Nice walking areas right across the street along the harbor. This part of town is just beautiful.

Our hostess, Joanie, is so special! Her care made our stay even better! Her home is lovely, very warm and inviting and IMMACULATE! Her breakfasts were fit for royalty! So delicious, and she waited on us, serving us like we were family. She was also a wealth of knowledge and information about the community and the best, fastest way to get to the airport amid morning traffic! Thank you, Joanie!!

I highly recommend staying at this charming bed and breakfast. The hostess, Joan, was very friendly, helpul and accommodating. The inn is in a great location within walking distance of the downtown with views of the harbor. Parking is easy and the breakfast was very good.

We really enjoyed staying at this property and expecially enjoyed the hospitality of the owner. This is a beautiful, historic property within walking distance of downtown Gloucester. The owner served an outstanding breakfast each morning. We will stay at this B&B on our next visit to the area.

Wonderful private home with excellent hostess and full breakfast meals. Well worth the price. Owner had a fascinating history. The house had a great view of the water and was less than a block from a park and paved walkway along the water and into town. Highly recommended!
