"The house is beautiful, spacious and very clean.... it is perfect!! Nobody wanted to leave... lol. The host is generous with all of the amenities. The views are breath taking and we had so much fun riding our jet skis all week, plus lots of fishing. The pool and hot tub were great after long days on the lake."

"We enjoyed our time at Carried Away. It's very spacious with all the morden convenience you will need. We had 12 adults and a poddle and if you needed alone time the house had more than enough space. Great customer service we called because one of the televisions wasn't working properly and the owner went out of her way to make sure it was working before she left the house, very appreciative to her. Thank you so much for a wonderful week and great accommodations for me and my family."

"This lake house is a great place for families! It has plenty of water toys, paddle boards, noodles, as well as a fully stocked game room downstairs. Our young grand children had the best time here. It is truly a little slice of heaven. The owners are very responsive and the house is well appointed for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend!"

"A wonderful family friendly lake vacation home. The house was very clean, with modern decor and bathrooms. The bedrooms were comfortable and we all slept well. We enjoyed the open layout for the family room and eating area - especially the large windows where we could see the beauty of the lake while eating or watching tv on the couch.The house is tucked into a quiet cove with enough water depth to fit our 20ft center console boat, with a short ride out to the main lake.Katie was great about providing timely and helpful information.Overall a wonderful place to stay!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this Lake Gaston property. The house is beautifully maintained, very clean, updated, and extremely comfortable for a larger group.The kitchen was especially impressive—very spacious, well equipped, with two large refrigerators and a super convenient icemaker. We cooked dinner for our group every night and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable with great beds, and the cozy living room was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.Our favorite spot was definitely the dock. It was a little cozy for our larger group, but the location more than made up for it. The house sits directly on a beautiful, calm bay, which made spending time on the water incredibly enjoyable and peaceful.Communication with Alan the owner was impeccable from beginning to end. He was responsive, helpful, and made everything very easy. Check-in was so smooth and straightforward that it honestly felt like we had been there before.Overall, a great Lake Gaston property in a wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider coming back!"

"We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! This home truly had everything you could possibly need for an amazing lake vacation. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect spot.The lake amenities were fantastic—paddle boards, kayaks, floats, a private dock, and the newly added stairs to the dock were a major PLUS as it made it so easy for the elders to get in and out of the lake! When we weren’t outside, the game room provided plenty of fun and entertainment for everyone.The house was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with four king-size beds, which was a huge plus for our group of 5. The kitchen was also exceptionally well stocked with quality pots and pans and utensils—something you don’t always find in a vacation rental!What really stood out was how thoughtfully everything was provided. The owners clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests have everything they need to relax, have fun, and feel at home.We had an unforgettable stay and would absolutely come back in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for the perfect lake house with incredible amenities, comfortable accommodations, and everything you need for a memorable getaway, look no further—this is the place!
