“We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.”

“对于中国来的小伙伴，我是非常建议来这里体验，最理想是两晚上。房车里面提供了全部餐具及厨具，而且露营车不会给你收拾房间。注意部分避雷，火堆建议买合成木料，就是大块烧4.5小时那种，一个晚上准备两块够了。路边有卖木柴的，但是业余露营的不建议买。那是高手用的，难着，火弱，易灭。如果要在营地做饭的食物要带够，虽然附近有超级市场。附近有个州立公园适合远足，时间控制在五小时左右。”

“Room smelled of sewage. The bathroom was very small with a sliding door. We got the room because we saw a jacuzzi/spa in the listing, but it wasn’t running. Bummer! The speak easy was very cool though and the included breakfast was a plus.”

“The Good: Our stay at Dawn Ranch had several highlights. The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained, providing a great atmosphere. The cottages are comfortable and "nice," and we found the on-site restaurant to be excellent. The Warning (The "Free" Wine Tasting): Unfortunately, the experience was marred by a very misleading "free wine tasting" partner event. Having done many tastings in Sonoma and Napa, we expected a standard flight or variety. Instead, it felt like a bait-and-switch: *……

“While the view is spectacular and on the surface the room was ok, there are maintenance issues. The fire place in the room we booked did not work, the faucets leaked and needed tightened, you couldn’t have just the room light on without the fan. The fan chain was not there, the light chain could not be reached unless you were 5’5”. Definitely not worth the money we paid! ”

We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “Awesome little cabin with everything you need for two. Loved being able to stay with our dog. Really cool to pack light and cook for ourselves. We stayed off season so it was just us. Host was really sweet and checked in daily. Super short walk into town if you want to go to a bar, eat at a restaurant or grab coffee. Can imagine it being really fun to hang on the river when it’s warm. Thanks again we needed a nice getaway. ”
