Unwind at the stunning Fischer's Getaway Cottage. The house was lovingly remodeled in 2022 and sleeps 6. The vintage details were kept for a luxurious, yet charming feel. The lake front property is located off Duck Lake in Gobles, MI. Shops and restaurants are only a 20-minute drive, so the area feels peaceful and secluded. It is close to snowmobile, hiking, and biking trails. Only 20 minutes from downtown South Haven and 45 minutes from Grand Haven! Amenities include lake front property, boat launch nearby, firepit, gas grill, large outdoor shower, stocked kitchen with seasonings, spices, coffee maker, air fryer, all bed linens, toiletry items and more! Unfortunately, NO pets are allowed.

Cozy cabin and sandy beach
This was a perfect little getaway for our toddlers. They had a blast playing in the shallow water and sandy beach. We didn’t make it to Lake Michigan but great location for some chill days at the cabin and easy excursion to South Haven. The Fischer’s were very hospitable- thank you!

Amazing Stay…We’ll be back!
Our Hosts were amazing. We had a couple questions which were addressed within minutes. They went above and beyond to assure our stay was the best it could be….and it was! Everything we needed was there and available. We would’ve only had to pack clothes, a few hba’s and some food and we’d have been all set. The lake is quiet and absolutely lovely.

Lake house
The house and property were exactly as described and pictured. The host had thought of pretty much everything we would need. Great selection of games and of movies to watch. House is super cute and the layout was perfect for all of us!! The view of the lake is absolutely stunning and you will not be disappointed if you love to sit outside and enjoy nature! We even saw an eagle snatch a fish out of the lake!

The rental was in a remote and quiet location. It was a great place to unplug and unwind. Wonderful setting to connect with family. The cabin was clean, cute and well stocked for all of our needs. Great local places between 10 - 25 minutes drive to eat and sights to see as well

Relaxing Getaway
My husband and I spent four nights at the cottage. The location was perfect and the hosts had many thoughtful amenities included for our stay. We spent our days kayaking, fishing, and reading on the lakeshore and our evenings visiting the area restaurants. Loved it and hope to return again.

Your Girls Trip Dream Come True
I brought my daughter & her 3 best friend's for a short beach trip stay for a post 16th birthday present. Fischer's Getaway was exactly what we needed. The property was exactly as pictured and so much more. In every nook, cupboard, drawer, & room Jessica went above and beyond to ensure comfort, convenience, & cleanliness. Tucked on a small all sports lake it still provides privacy & peaceful relaxation. The sandy lake front beach is perfect fun for all ages/ groups. We all talked about wanting to visit again soon! Book your times now because this one is a gem!
