Disappointing

Nobody at reception to greet me, key box outside. Rooms looked old in my opinion. I had just driven 7 hours to get there, no milk in the room, no shampoo in the room. I booked this as it had a restaurant, when i arrive there was a letter telling me that it was closed and there is a café 5 minutes down the road. after travelling 7 hours that was the last thing i needed to start finding food. You have every opportunity to put this information on the Hotel.Com website that it was closed as i would have chosen another property that had food services. As i was that disappointed i didn't even stay the night, i arrived at 1.30pm and left the hotel at 4.30pm and continues travelling back to Goulburn.

The Office was only open from 8.30 am till 10.30 am,No contact number avaible for help,No WiFi,No food service ,No Remote control for Air Con ,No Shampoo or conditioner ,no microwave, For $220 a night ,I expected all the normal faciliities .Do not stay in this place ,you will be hugely disappointed

I booked the room then was never able to stay in it I want a full refund. I tried calling after hours number over 30 times and sent text messages with no reply or answer. I simply never used the room and am extremely disappointed I had to sleep on the street. I want my money back ASAP.

Reception only open a couple of hrs in the morning, thereafter you have to call the night manager’s mobile & wait to hear back to get access to a little safe with your room key. Room was tiny & not well cleaned. Shower had left over persons soap from another stay. Definitely won’t be back. Parking tight.

Unfortunately it was raining heavily during our stay and there was no umbrella's available to be able get to dining places without getting drenched, and there were no ubers available either. If it hadn't have been raining it might have been OK.

We wanted an inexpensive, clean place to stay the night before driving south in the morning. This property was well-located and had most of the basics. But - we couldn't work out how to turn on the TV (remote supplied was different brand to TV), arriving at 7.30 pm we were too late to get the WIFI code and the closest parking was in an intersecting street.

Not worth the price. Very disappointed. Stank of cigarette smoke. Air conditioner was leaking on me in bed. No fly screens or fan in bathroom. There were at least 20 big moths in the room, which I have a phobia of. Plus a huntsman. It doesn't look very nice either, needs to be renovated, looked dirty.

Let’s start with the positives(as I don’t have much to say) .Location was amazing,so close to everything and lovely view of park off balcony .Reception staff lovely but never there Negatives .back glass door doesn’t lock .curtains were all damaged at top rail so had not enough privacy,other room look straight onto your beds. .I had to clean Air Con before using it,full of dust and mould(the dust was hanging out of the vents) .Ceiling fan so noisy could only use it on low speed .Mould in shower(on tiles) .Have to get own towels from reception,we stayed for 10 nights.Went down one morning to get 3 towels they only had 2 clean towels to give me .Lots of dodgy people staying there .Even though it says No Smoking in rooms,cleaner always has a smoke in her mouth while cleaning rooms .Cleaner throws bed sheets and towels ion dirty pathway in front of rooms when cleaning of room when changing sheets after people leave .Pool filthy(my kids didn’t swim once in it even thought being there fir 10 days .Carparking dreadful,we had to park at park behind us .My parents room had so much frost in fridge door wouldnt shut(this was when they arrived)how could cleaner not of seen this.Could not even shut door.I had to try and defrost it with my hair dryer I could say more but why bother,I don’t think it will change anything.A little cleaning product and a duster doesn’t cost a lot of money,we will not be returning😩

Would never recommend it to anyone . No practical commodities eg toaster or iron not even a small guest soap to use on arrival . And to top it all after a ten hour drive no hot water till the second evening.Also only limited parking had to park in a local car park at the back and walk up.

The opening hours of the reception is limited. First place I've ever stayed where there is only 1 toilet roll. If you run out bad luck, until you get one the next morning when reception is open. No room service if staying more than one night. No hot water early morning. This maybe due to an early running event and everyone was using the shower at the same time. Very very limited parking available. Other that that it is in a nice and convenient location.

Keep expectations as low as the price when staying here. Would recommend calling first to check there is wifi and that the pool is swimmable if these are important to you. We might consider returning when this property is well maintained again to cater to short stay tourism again. Rooms themselves were clean and comfy enough, and location excellent. But that’s it, don’t expect anything more.
