There was no view, bathroom was dirty, dust on air vents, cockroaches came out of dishwasher. Disappointed.

Sunshine Beach Resort
The owner was very kind, the room was clean with comfortable beds and had more amenities than advertised (hairdryer, iron & ironing board). There is also express checkout and free parking. The aircon hasn’t been used in a while as some black specks blew out of it but it functioned well.

The Langham, Gold Coast and Jewel Residences
Hotel is great, lovely pool and close to beach. Room was OK (no free upgrade this time) and having to hand over your luggage immediately on arrival (pre-check in) was unexpected and not really warranted.

Main thing was just a little upset to turn up and hear about the temp closure of the pool. After travelling from interstate and being so excited abou using the pool area we were terribly upset when told on check in it would be closed for our whole stay, as we would have booked elsewhere had we have ...
