Then you walk through the little gate and the experience just keeps getting better! The view is spectacular and the grounds are well kept. “It was a delightful stay for my dog and me because: The cabin was charming with all of its period details, The property was walkable and peaceful with a "creek running through it", and The host was outgoing, warm and friendly. The resident dog, too! Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely book the cabin again.”

She provided DVDs, ingredients for s'mores, and had a fire pit ready to go. We even saw a herd of deer. This spot was perfect for adults looking to relax and enjoy nature. Kids might feel a little cramped, so come prepared with things to keep little hands busy. The bathroom was a wee bit small, but very usable. 5……

“This place was the perfect getaway to celebrate our anniversary! It was clean, beautiful, and had everything you could want. The loft was so cozy and the window was great for letting in fresh air. However, you do have to crawl to get from the stairs to the bed and it’s easy to hit your head if you aren’t careful, so that’s one thing to consider if you have mobility issues. Overall, would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!”

“Beautiful, very private spot with huge views and a lot of charm. The kitchen was very well-equipped for cooking (even a salad spinner!!), everything was comfortable, and the host(ess) was easy to work with and responsive to questions. Great fireplace and cool bathroom. Had board games and a gas grill. We didn’t have kids or pets with us but it would be fine for either. Perfect getaway!”

“The property is gorgeous! Lots of float options within a quick trip of the cabin. We floated from Chinook park to the cabins at least 6 times. About a 40 minute float and a 4 minute drive for drop off! Floated to the splash pad water park and stopped for a picnic and let the kids play. Property was gorgeous, beds are comfy, owner was quick to respond with any and all our request.”

We made it our home for 3 months and it was ideal for us for walking and hiking in Lithia park , dinners out at fabulous restaurants / theatre . “Rustic and relaxing location right on the river. Well equipped kitchen and propane for the BBQ. We didnt use them, but there were fishing rods on the deck. The road was a little noisy at night. Secure location. Our dog had a nice yard to roam in, although she chose to bark at bigfoot first each time she went out”
