This property exceed my expectations. I came with my 3 teenaged sons in July. The views were absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of outdoor activities to do in and around Kicking House and Golden. All the comforts of home were provided in the house such as laundry detergent, shampoo & conditioner, and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Place!

My family, including adults, teens, and a 10 month old, stayed here and used it as a base for our visits to Yoho, Glacier, and Banff National Parks. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for all of us. The gas fireplace was a favorite gathering place and the teens really enjoyed the hot tub, which was very clean. Mary-Beth was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to the one question that we had. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home.

Gorgeous home in a great location

The house was big enough for our entire group and the hosts provided plenty of amenities including a stocked kitchen for cooking and grilling. Everything was extremely clean. The hosts were helpful and communicated quickly when we had questions. Great location to Glacier National Park and Yoho. Would stay again!

Peaceful Escape

We loved our stay! The home was spotless and very well appointed. It was exactly as described and Mary-Beth was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The street is quiet and the river behind the property added to the peaceful feel of the home, especially from the hot tub. Will absolutely stay here again.

Central location for National Park trips

We picked this home in Golden, British Columbia because it was conveniently located close to 6 Canadian National Parks. The home was large, beautifully decorated and the surroundings felt very safe. We found a number of good restaurants in the city and the roads were well paved. Thoroughly enjoyed the house and our adventures !!

Lovely Space

Perfect place for a few days of relaxation and a great base from which to explore the area. Very comfortable with huge windows and a real wood burning fireplace - lovely. We especially liked the fact that the hot tub was under the stars (not a balcony) and felt almost in the woods. We would definitely return.

YOHO Vacation

The property was absolutely perfect. Great location to explore Yoho, Jasper and Banff parks. Kids loved the hot tub and parents had plenty of space in the kitchen to prepare meals. Kicking Horse resort grizzly bear and gondola rides were spectacular. Golf at Golden GC was close by and a great value for such a well kept course. This area has something for everyone and the house was perfect for our large group to unwind at the end of long hikes. Highly recommend

AWESOME CHALET!

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It has a good view of the mountains off of the front deck. The chalet was very clean and peaceful. It was well supplied with everything you need. Mary-Beth was easy to communicate with and check-in was a breeze. I highly recommend taking the gondola to the Eagle Eye restaurant at the resort. It was a fantastic experience! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this chalet and would stay here again!

Fantastic Stay!!

We stayed at this property with our family…5 adults and 2 children under 3. Before we left we all talked and could not come up with a single thing we would change. The property was immaculate when we arrived and had absolutely everything we needed. Any communication we had with the owner was immediately answered during booking and prior to check in. It was hard to leave but we will definitely be back!

Nice chalet on Kicking Horse Mountain

We had a wonderful stay at this home in September. It was exactly as described and a welcome change from staying in hotels. The owner was very responsive both before and during our stay, which we appreciated. Due to the wildfires in Jasper, we adjusted our plans and found Golden to be a great alternative. We visited Yoho National Park, explored the Golden Skybridge, and even went paragliding off Mount 7! The location is about 15 minutes from downtown Golden, which has plenty of nice restaurant options. It was also a bonus to have laundry detergent and dryer sheets available, making it easy to freshen up our clothes before heading to our next destination in the Canadian Rockies.

Lovely spacious place is an amazing location. Perfect for us. TV was not really functional (we struggled to make the Chromecast work or switch it onto cable, wireless was sluggish which made streaming difficult) but that was good for us. We played games instead. Well equipped kitchen, but only one side of the toaster worked. Lovely big living area with huge windows. The real fire and gas fire were very cozy. The hosts and manager were very responsive and helpful. The ski in and out were very convenient, and would have been easy if it had not been easy season icy. Hope to come back soon!

Golden family vacation

Great jumping off point for daily trips to Yoho, Banff and Jasper. And the town of Golden is very nice as well. We had a fantastic family vacation!
